Trusted teacher: The term "Oxbridge" is a collective term that refers to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, the two oldest, wealthiest, and most exclusive educational establishments in the United Kingdom. Both are regularly listed amongst the top universities in the world and entry is correspondingly difficult. The notoriously tough process consists of personal statements, references, interviews, aptitude tests and more. As a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, I am well-versed with the admissions process and have personally experienced the challenges and requirements of gaining admission to these universities. Furthermore, my successful academic background in the humanities has given me a strong foundation to guide students through the rigorous academic expectations that they will encounter when they arrive at their dream university. I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. In my time at Oxford, I was an active member of the access community which sought to mentor prospective students. As part of that, I worked with students of all abilities from all over the United Kingdom, providing seminars, lectures, mock interviews and coaching. I was particularly praised for my teaching style and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Whilst I offer a structured course for those who want it, which covers the most important aspects of the application process, my tutoring service is bespoke and I am available to provide individual sessions focusing on the areas of your choice. Each session is tailored to the needs of my students. Whether you require the A-Z course, or individual lessons, I will collaborate with the student to devise a plan of action that will give them the best chance to meet their goals. The Course: The Oxford Entrance Preparation Course is designed to prepare students for the rigorous admissions processes of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. It aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and guidance to support them in their applications. Students will gain a deep understanding of the universities, the application process, and what it is like to study at Oxbridge. The course will focus on the key academic and personal qualities that Oxford looks for in its applicants, and how students can develop and showcase these qualities. Requirements: There are few specific prerequisites for this course, but students should have a good command of the English language, a genuine interest in attending the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge, and a passion for studying. It is recommended that students have a very strong academic background, but a good academic background does not necessarily exclude the student from making a successful application. N.b. I cannot guarantee that you or your child will get accepted into Oxbridge (this is subjective and, every year, thousands of deserving students make unsuccessful attempts) but we'll work together to make sure you stand the greatest possible chance of making a successful application.

Trusted teacher: Music is in the origin of human history and is one of the oldest form of art and communication. It is the fundament of our culture, of ourselves. Only through music, we as the human race could evolve. Let's learn how to write music by becoming familiar with harmony, solfeggio, counterpoint. Andrea was born in Latina in 1996. His interest in music began as a child thanks to the influence of his uncle self-taught musician. The fascination of creation and musical production led him at the age of 13 to begin studies of Composition (under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Meoli) and Classical Guitar (with Maestro Giuseppe Gazzelloni and Maestro Marco del Greco) at the "Ottorino Respighi" conservatory in Latina. During his studies he has participated in numerous masterclasses with composers such as Leo Brouwer, Richard Causton, Toshio Hosokawa, Danny Elfman. In 2018 he participated in the annual composition course held by Giorgio Colombo Taccani as part of the LeAltreNote festival. His works have been performed in several European countries by artists such as Ensemble Fractales (Belgium), Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (United Kingdom), Estonian Police Wind Orchestra (Estonia), Fabrice Pierre (France), Stefano Parrino, Stefano Di Loreto (Italy ),... Among the awards obtained: 3rd prize at the Wolfgang Jacobi competition in Trossingen with “Cinque Miniature” for alto saxophone and accordion; 2nd prize in the Musica Nova competition (M ° Ennio Morricone jury director) in Latina with “I am vertical” for ensemble and soprano; O / Modernt Music Award in 2020 in Stockholm with “Ein Körnchen Sands” for mezzo-soprano, cello and piano; audience prize in the Tärkav Vask.ID competition in Tallinn with the piece "Śūnyatā" for wind orchestra; finalist in January 2021 in the Musequal competition in Helsinki with "Le vrai vert de l’ésperance" for violin, cello and piano. He is currently completing a master's in composition with Helena Tulve at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater in Tallinn, Estonia.

Trusted teacher: I have an extensive experience with teaching Mathematics and Statistics at levels from high schooll all the way to university level. I was a mathematics teacher in Romania and Canada, taught and tutored at levels from high school to university in Toronto, Canada and San Diego, USA. My last Mathematics job was in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, San Diego, as a researcher Mathematician. To be precise, I was in the research group of Prof. David Meyer from UCSD, specializing mainly in quantum computing, and also doing project in data mining (like for instance analysis of mobile phone data and processing of satellite images). I have a PhD in mathematics from UCSD (area being representation of Lie groups). At this moment I find myself in Tallin before starting a new position again at UCSD. I like the city very much and want to earn my daily bread while I am here and no appeal to other financial reserves. Moreover, I enjoy teaching and explaining whatever I understand in Mathematics, Probability and Statistics to whoever is interested. In my youth I was somewhat of a prodigy and went to the International Mathematical Olympiad with the Romanian team. That is if anybody would wonder why I am not working already as a Mathematician. I will soon, but in the meantime, I want to use my talent to earn some money here in Estonia. I have a Romanian citizenship. I speak fluently Romanian, English, Russian, French, and well enough German. At this moment I am also learning Estonian. I am hoping to find people that are interested in whatever knowledge i have to share. In my opinion, and not only mine, I am not only a good Mathematician, but I have a talent to make things clearer for the student. This applies to all levels, even from elementary to quite advanced. Come and try me and you will not be disappointed.
