Together we work on solid singing technique, breathing, articulation, interpretation, musicality and vocal hygiene. We explore the classical singing repertoire and look for music that suits your voice. You can also take a trip to other genres (jazz, pop, musical, ...) You learn to use your voice from a classical approach, but with good singing technique you can handle many styles! I myself am mainly active as a writer of theatre texts, but I also have experience with writing song lyrics, literary translations, essays etc.. I approach all texts from a creative perspective and artistic vision. As a theatre author I am also concerned with how a text sounds - if it does not sound pleasant, it can certainly be written better. As a coach, I focus primarily on giving feedback on the texts you write and I am happy to help you get started with assignments to start writing and/or to shake off the dreaded writer's block. Great lessons. Very motivated teacher, encouraging, and very patient :-), and he teaches the basis also, so we can really go pro. I love it and my son loves it, too (so happy he wants to learn to play drums, and that is for a big part, thanks to Stephan).
