For over 20 years I have specialised in teaching English in schools in England, Scotland, Germany, Malaysia and Turkey. My students are energised and never frightened to think and ask questions. I believe in lifelong learning and whether teaching Language Arts, EAL or English Literature for High School exam students, my students are encouraged to question, challenge themselves and become global thinkers in a warm environment with personalised support. Combining Language and Literature increases students' ability to interpret information analytically and through exploring culture - a skill which I believe helps them to be culturally sensitive, empathetic and aware of the world's possibilities and limits.
