As a civil engineer with an EPFL degree, I have been working in a design office since 2020: excavations, retaining walls, foundations, numerical modeling, and site supervision. I mentor junior engineers and interns in this role, and I write reports explaining these calculations to clients who are not engineers. I support students from EPFL, HES and vocational schools in the branches that filter: statics, strength of materials, reinforced concrete, soil mechanics and foundations. We work on your past exams and series. For geotechnics and foundations, I show you how these calculations are actually carried out in the office and according to which standards, which makes the material much more understandable than a formula learned by heart.
