Hello! I am a private tutor (in-person and online) in philosophy, history, social sciences, and political science. I have been teaching since 2014 and I support a variety of audiences (secondary, higher education, researchers). My teaching method is active: flipped classroom, Socratic debate, project-based learning, criterion-referenced assessments (rubrics), and rapid feedback. I help students formulate a solid problem, structure a plan, argue rigorously, and cite their sources correctly. I work with digital tools (Moodle, Teams/Zoom, Zotero, NVivo/ATLAS.ti, SPSS/R) and I provide clear support: learning objectives, timetable, assessment criteria. The sessions alternate between summary contributions, guided exercises and discussion sessions. I value curiosity, intellectual discipline and academic honesty (zero ghostwriting, methodological support only). Areas of expertise: ethics and political theory, history of ideas, discourse analysis, methodology (qualitative/quantitative). Languages: fluent French and English; German read/spoken, Portuguese read; Latin/Ancient Greek (reading). I am caring but demanding: I set explicit expectations, encourage autonomy, and remain available between sessions for targeted questions. If you are looking for structured mentoring, based on clarity, method, and the joy of learning, I will be happy to support you.
