My lessons are built around the teaching method Alfred's Basic Piano Library - an accessible and logical learning path for beginning pianists. At the same time, you will quickly choose a piece that you like. Something that may be a bit more difficult than your level, but that we will work towards together step by step. That makes practicing not only more fun, but also motivating: you hear something back that you recognize and that you live towards, instead of just theory and technical exercises. Especially in the beginning, when playing the piano often takes more effort than it sounds good at first, it helps enormously to play music that you really have something with. And that is exactly the balance I seek in my lessons: a good structure with room for personal taste and playing pleasure.
