Alaa is a computer engineer of Palestinian origin, he is 30 years old and lives in Zaragoza - Spain.
He currently works as a project coordinator in a Spanish-Canadian company, and he likes to learn new things about the different cultures of the world and teaching computer subjects and languages.
He was the person responsible for the linguistic and cultural exchange between the Arabs and the Spanish in Seville, working as a volunteer with the association of support to the Syrian people.
He has more than 6 years of teaching experience and approximately 5 years of teaching Arabic in Spain to Spanish and English speakers.

Alaa is currently working as a Project Manager at the Spanish startup company OBORIA, after finishing his high studies in the University of Seville in the master program of "Management of Information Technology and Communication". Originally from Gaza, Palestine. Alaa received his B.A. in Computer Engineering from the Islamic University of Gaza in December 2012. During his time at the IUG he volunteered as a representative of the students of the Computer Engineering Dept. for 27 months, organizing 4 major events, workshops and open days. Also participated in the Google Online Marketing Challenge 2012 and won the third place over the MENA area, and represented the IUG in the First Arabic Conference for Robotics Science in Amman, Jordan, publishing a concept paper. After graduation he worked as a Lead of Testing Engineers in Hayat Technology Inc. in Garland, Texas for one year, then he moved to VFS Global to work as the Head of the Joint Schengen Visa Application Center in Gaza for two years. Currently, Alaa resides in Saragossa, Spain and works with OBORIA as a project manager.
