Hi I’m Clara, I’m 18 years old (2007) and I’m following lessons with Erik Sluys and Valery Oistrakh. I started playing violin when I was 4 years old. I go to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels where I study violin and music in general. I give lessons every saturday from 17h. If you’re interested you can contact me.

I’m Clara I’m 18 years old and I’d love to help you teach violin! I play violin ever since I was little and I’m very passionate about music and playing violin. I’m half Belgian and half Argentinian. I speak Dutch fluently but I can also teach in English. I speak very average/little French.

I started violin when I was 4 years old and got private lessons with Joanna Vlaeminck. Later on I also got violin lessons with Erik Sluys, Alice van Leuven and a masterclass with Guido de Neve. Currently I’m getting lessons from Valery Oistrakh and Erik Sluys. I was taught violin with the Suzuki Method which I personally think is a great way to learn the basics. I would start with very basic things like the bow hold and posture. Then afterwards step by step playing short pieces from the Suzuki books. I have them at home and you can buy them afterwards. We wouldn’t do all of them as it’s mostly just for basics and not for fast improvement. I will teach you violin but also tell you about mastering the art behind music in general.

I’m currently a student at the Academy of Art in Anderlecht and Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

I’ve been concert master in the Brussels Young Philharmonic Orchestra. I played in the KCB chamber orchestra (Royal Conservatory of Brussels). And now I’m studying in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I also did an orchestra project in the Netherlands and have been playing in YOF (Youth Orchestra Flanders) in august (2025).

Currently at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in master violin classical I offer courses of a beginner or advanced level adapted to your needs.
In this course we will discuss musical theory as well as the practice of the instrument.

Do you want to learn to play music at your own pace and in a relaxed atmosphere? Without compulsory theory lessons, without pressure, stress or exams? Are you busy with school, or with other hobbies? Or can the music school not be combined with a job, and do you prefer the personal approach to private lessons? Then you can come to me for a daily lesson package that we can adjust to your personal expectations and ambition. That can be weekly, biweekly ... with or without theory. You can come to me both during the day and in the evening, a fixed day is not necessary either.

Arabic Lute or Ud plays a very prominent role in Arabic music: people call him the 'sultan' of the Arabic instruments.
In these lessons we will approach the traditional instrumental repertoire with original point of view, Egyptian school, Iraqis school and Moroccan school, analyzing ornaments and elements of virtuosity.

I have many experiences teaching young children, adolescents and adults, your lessons are completely tailor-made to your needs.
