Yin Yoga Class with meditation and breathing practice

I am a certified yin yoga teacher and I offer 1 hour 30 minutes yin yoga experience.

WHAT IS YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow paced and passive style of yoga practice where postures are practiced on the floor in static way for an extended period of time ranging from two to five minutes. When combines with internal awareness yin yoga also becomes a highly meditative tool to cultivate inner silence, enhance awareness and explore the deeper realm of our consciousness.

PROGRAM


Class is very appropriate for beginner and advanced practitioners. In 1.30 hour class we will start with 15 minutes guided meditation then we will continue 60 minutes with yin yoga poses. These poses mainly work with lower of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine and focus on facia. The practice of yin yoga is based on ancient Chinese philosophies and Taoist principles which believe there are pathways of Qi (energy) that run through our bodies. We are opening up any blockages and releasing that energy to flow freely.

We will close our practice with breathing exercise such as Nadi Shodhana, Ocean Breath. Breathing exercises can have an effect on your state of mind, improve cognitive function and reduce symptoms of anxiety.

The last 15 minutes we can have tea, my hand made glutem free sweet and talk about yoga, life, meditation.

About Me

I have been doing yin yoga almost 6 years. 2 years ago decided to go deeply learn yoga. I got 200 hours yoga alliance certification for yoga teacher training then I got another 200 hours yin yoga teacher training.

I do also yang style, Ariel yoga, almost for 2 years. It is a yang style and I love it. But yin yoga is different for me.

Yoga is a big world to learn and I continue another trainings to understand better. İt s a long-life student program.

Education

I completed my bachelor degree on Business Administration. After few years I decided to begin master in the same area. Finally, I got my master degree on Business Administration in 2017. My thesis topic was about motivation factors of 'Generation Y' in work place.

My classes are mainly oriented on the connection with the breath, the anchoring and the deep muscular work. The lessons are adapted according to the level of the students, and I offer several variations: Hatha Yoga: general category which encompasses most of the styles practiced. "Hatha" means "perseverance", "effort" or even "determination". To be determined to achieve liberation within a certain period.
