Hi! I’m Sheri, a friendly and patient tutor who focuses on helping students build confidence as well as skills. I believe everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace, personality, and goals. Whether someone needs clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, or a calm space to ask questions without feeling judged, I make sure they feel supported from the very first lesson.

My background in Uniformed Protective Services and Criminology has given me strong communication, organisation and leadership skills, which I bring into my tutoring. I’m especially good at breaking down difficult topics into simple, practical ideas that students can understand and remember. I also enjoy working with younger learners, keeping lessons engaging through examples, real-life scenarios, and interactive activities.

As a tutor, I’m encouraging, understanding, and easy to talk to. I really care about helping students reach their potential and seeing them improve week by week. My lessons are structured but never stressful

I have taught piano for 20years on three different continents (North America, Asia, and Europe). During this time I have worked with pupils from many different cultural backgrounds, aged between 4-80, with skills ranging from novice to advance players. I completed my Associateship Teaching Diploma in 2004, from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

I have also taught and tutored rudimentary to advanced theory (harmony) for the past 10 years, for ABRSM exams and undergraduate music courses. All my students pass their ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Exam on their first try.

I am a classically trained singer from the Royal Academy of Music in London. I primarily work as a performer in opera and I very much enjoy teaching. I can help you with vocal technique, improving your breathing, interpretation, and general performance skills.

I can definitely also help with different genres like pop music, jazz, or gospel. I am looking forward to getting to know you!

I recently finished a 5-year training at the Paris Conservatory as a singer in contemporary music and I am now graduated from this training (jazz, soul, rnb, metal, rock, musical comedy, French song ...). This year I entered a Master of Music and Performance in London.
I move without problem and listen to the demand for songs to work.

My method is ... LEARN BY MAKING YOUR MUSIC!

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.
