I am a fully qualified native English teacher from the UK recently moved to Geneva. I have 7 years teaching experience in language schools in Cambridge (UK) and in Japan, teaching English to students from all over the world of all levels, ages and abilities in group classes and one-to-one. I have taught general English, Business English, English Exam classes and childrens classes but specialise in highly practical, fun and engaging communicative classes and learning, tailored to individual class and student requirements. I will use proven techniques and methods for fun and effective language learning to students of all learning styles within classes and provide advice, coaching and support for self-learning outside class.

I am a native British English speaker and bring my experience and love of teaching English to motivated students and adults of all ages and abilities in Geneva. I have been an English language teacher to learners from all over the world and from all backgrounds, ages and abilities for 7 years both in the UK and abroad.
As a native speaker I can provide a deeper level of knowledge and application of English than many second language speakers, especially for phrasing and pronunciation work. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate or advanced English speaker who is looking to improve or perfect your English skills for yourself, your studies, your job or your business, I can help you.
I will work to create classes based on your individual needs, learning style and existing abilities and provide lots of opportunities for learning and practice through speaking, writing, listening and reading. My experience and some of the latest studies and theories for learning a second language have shown, that making the content of lessons fun, relaxing, engaging and meaningful to learner's life and experience, makes for the most effective and memorable lessons. However, any materials or books you want to work on together for study, work or any other reason will also prove a valuable resource.
It's difficult, but it can be a lot of fun and very rewarding to learn a second language (as I am discovering with French!) so I do look forward to hearing from you and gettin' you going on better English.
