Présentation

I have been teaching the guitar since 2016 to students of all ages and levels. I am really passionate in transmitting all the knowledge I have acquired over the years and making the students love music as much as I do.
I have studied the guitar next to Michalis Kontaxakis and Antonis Hatzinikolaou, two of Greece's most acclaimed performers. I have also traveled the world to take classes with a lot of the most notable guitarists of our time (e.g. Zoran Dukić, Hubert Käppel, etc).
Studying Musicology at the University of Athens gave me a lot of insight into the deepest meanings in the musical works and gave me strong grounding in the different musical styles of western music. This knowledge is valuable to be able to appreciate music in its entirety and I am always eager to transmit that to my students.

Education

2015-2021: University of Athens, Degree in Musicology (Integrated Master), GPO 8,4/10.
2019: Certificate in Fugue Composition, Korydalos Music School.
2018: Post-diploma Certificate in Classical Guitar, under Michalis Kontaxakis.
2016: Diploma in Classical Guitar.

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!!

My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for.

The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you!

I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

I am Alain, married and have two daughters and have lived in the Netherlands since 2017. Before this I lived in China for 15 years where I worked as a professional musician. I am originally from Mauritius where I also worked as a musician. I have years of experience teaching acoustic guitar and bass guitar to both children and adults.
Are you already advanced and do you want to improve yourself or have you never played and are you looking for someone who will teach you the basics first and then help you get better? Then you've come to the right place.
I can read music but prefer to play without sheet music to really feel the music and to express my own creativity in the music.

I have studied classical piano for over 10 years and have completed my Royal Conservatory of Music studies in Canada. I have over 3 years of experience teaching singing and piano to young students (as early as age 4) to beginner adults at the City of Toronto Parks and Recreation Programs.

I am a passionate, calm and patient teacher who wants to share my love of music with my fellow students. I am also keen on helping students improve and gain further confidence to perform.

I will be teaching online and when it is suitable I will be able to teach on location.

I am a professional classical pianist in the Netherlands working as a performer, accompanist, and piano teacher. I have bachelor's and master's degrees from the Conservatori Liceu in Barcelona and I'm actually taking my second master studies in HKU Conservatorium in Utrecht.

I am very fond of teaching and have experience with people of all ages and levels. For kids, I prepare dynamic classes with different techniques, games, and approaches, so they can be a fun experience for them. It's very important for me to teach students the best tools for approaching music but mainly that they enjoy, learn, and have a good time.
