Graduated in musical interpretation of keyboard instruments (piano, clavichord and organ) at the Tartini Conservatory of Trieste. I have a great passion for music from an early age. I have worked as a music teacher since giving private classes to students of all levels, designing a study program adapted to each person with the aim of motivating and inspiring. I have had the opportunity to study in Brussels, Italy and England where I have grown personally and professionally performing concerts in important venues such as the European Parliament and the Bosnian National Gallery of Art. I like to share all my experience with my students and help them reach their full potential as well as develop a passion for the instrument and musical creation.

My guitar lessons are a real experience for those who study with me. What matters most to me is that my student can fulfill his desires with the guitar and music. I do not impose predetermined classes, but I leave the person free to express what he wants to learn. I am helpful in transmitting to you the skills that are right for you. When you enter my studio room it is like stopping time and being able to focus on yourself, on your sensations and on what really makes you happy with the guitar. About Pierpa: Pierpaolo is a guitarist and composer born in 1995 from central Italy (Le Marche, Recanati). At the age of 12 he picked up a classical guitar for the first time (which he still owns) and since then he has not stopped playing, practicing and inventing with it. He currently lives in Barcelona (Spain) where he mainly teaches rock, jazz and flamenco. In fact, his studies range from jazz (he has 2 degrees in jazz guitar) to flamenco. In Barcelona Pierpaolo attends the ESMUC conservatory. "I am Pierpaolo, a professional guitarist with a Bachelor and Master's degree in Jazz Guitar (110 cum laude) and with experience studying other styles such as blues, rock, pop, funk, latin, fusion, flamenco. I have 10 years of experience as a teacher and have played at many festivals and events as a guitarist, in ensembles ranging from solo guitar to orchestra and big band. Hi, I'm Emma, I'm a musician and guitar player from Paris based in Barcelona. After having studied 2 years at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam in Jazz Guitar Bachelor, I transferred myself in Lisbon since June of 2024 to continue my studies in a Jazz Bachelor Program. I am also playing in different music projects going from contemporary Jazz, to pop, world music projects. I'm available to teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons for students with levels from beginners till intermediate level. I'm open to teach all types of music; Jazz, Pop, Rock, Indie music... I love all types of music, and the goal of my lessons is to adapt myself to the need and desire of every students. In my classes we will practice technique, improvisation, composition, repertoire and creativity, among others topics, all of this in a fun and chill atmosphere:)

This course is designed for both beginners who want to learn from scratch and intermediate students who want to improve their piano skills. Includes essential piano fundamentals (score reading, technique and posture), diverse repertoire that ranges from classical to contemporary pieces, adapted to your level (or pieces of the student's choice: films, songs,...) We will use a personalized and friendly approach to ensure that each student achieves their musical goals in a fun and effective way. The classes will adapt to your needs and learning pace.

Analysis tools for western art- and popular music. The course is made for you to learn how to analyze any kind of music with the right tools to approach harmonic, rhythmic or melodic relations in music. Among the main topic we will study basilisks harmonic, rhythmic and melodic analysis, Shenkerean analysis, Schoenberg harmonic conception, Lechenmann ́s perspective of sound, analysis of tonal and non-tonal music.

Lessen ook beschikbaar in het Nederlands! In my classes I always seek to maintain a balance between the development of basic knowledge, composition techniques and creativity. These are the three fundamental pillars that any person dedicated to composition needs. Basic knowledge: Many are afraid of learning "too much" theory, because they believe that it can kill creativity. But what I precisely want to teach in my classes is a practical approach, where theoretical knowledge serves to further develop creativity. Composition techniques: Each class I give small composition tasks, things that can be developed in the time you have available between classes, where we will explore different composition techniques and how they can be applied within the musical language that you want to develop. Creativity: We work here in two ways, the first is on a project you are working on, for example a piece for your own instrument, a project for a competition or entrance exam, a song, etc. The second way is through improvisation exercises on your instrument. We will do this together, since I play violin and piano. With this we are seeing how to give space to musical intuition, to be able to capture ideas and then concretize them in a composition. These three elements are present in each class, which is usually divided into 20-minute sections, so a lesson usually lasts 1 hour.

Musical language classes (Harmony, Literacy, Rhythm, Auditory Training) for school reinforcement or self-interest. Classes will focus on each student's preferred areas of musical language, and practical exercises will be continuously performed on the student's instrument. Additionally, Music Composition classes are offered, in genres such as classical music, jazz and music for audiovisuals and computer-assisted music.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing!
