My name is Anna and I have over 15 years’ experience teaching English as a Foreign Language. During this time I have taught students from all age groups at almost all levels of proficiency (A0-C1). I have taught General English, Business English, EAP, PET, KET, FCE, CAE and IELTS preparation courses, and Teaching Methodology courses. I have experience with course and curriculum design, as well as developing formative and summative assessments including written and oral exams. I also have a solid knowledge of the CEFR levels.
I have experience working with students of various nationalities from diverse cultural backgrounds. I believe that the key to being a great teacher is the ability to build a good rapport with students. Thus, I aim to be an amiable, enthusiastic and engaging teacher. I always see it as one of my main responsibilities to provide students with positive reinforcement, to make them feel valued and respected and thus instil in them the right motivation to make any course a valuable experience.
