I would have gone from being a shy, quiet individual to a speaker on the podium; that was a transformation that took practice and personal development. Now I can speak in any public situation, as I have been on various podiums, panels at events, competitions, conferences and meetings. In this course you will: • Tackle the fears of speaking in front of an audience and acquire the confidence necessary to do so • Learn about the different types of public speakers, and the techniques heavily used by each • Go through exercises that will assist in confidence, pitch and pacing • Learn and practice techniques created, inspired and reinforced by Dale Carnegie to improve preparation and delivery • Create your own five-minute speech with assistance and guidance.

I taught French at a British school for one year. Then I used to be an English teacher for 25 years at a French school in France. I am a Frenchman, I have the CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English). I do not have any French but a nice British accent.
