Writing skills are an important part of communication in a foreign language, in order to communicate a message with clarity and ease. For this reason, this course aims to improve your grammar, spelling, punctuation and complex phrase construction. Special attention will be paid to correct ortography - with special emphasis on constructs that may be difficult - and to plan specific pieces of writing that the student may need at school, university or in the workplace.
The student will have the opportunity to use the appropriate vocabulary in diverse written situations, focusing on formal expression.
Therefore, the aim of this course is to develop students written expression through a series of graded steps, using a stimulating range of writing activities based on the student's needs.

My name is Federica and I was born and raised in Como, in the north of Italy. After my studies in Intercultural and Interlinguistic Mediation, I graduated Summa cum Laude in Didactic of the Italian language and culture, at the University Ca' Foscari of Venice. As soon as I obtained the Master's degree, I started giving different Italian language courses to tourists, managers and non-EU migrants.
I then decided to move to Brussels, in Belgium, where I started teaching Italian in different schools to adults and bilingual childern.
Fan of photography, cinema and literature, I speak English, French, Spanish and a little bit of Russian.

This type of courses starts from the basic level (A1) to the advanced one (C1). The courses are mainly individual, but group classes may also be arranged. Each lesson is based on a communicative didactic, conducted in the target language and focused on the student's needs. The student is always encouraged to play a primary role during the lesson.

The student can choose different topics time by time: history, art, music, cinema and theatre, culture and news.
Since a certain degree of oral independence is required, these courses are aimed for students that have at least achieved a B1 level.

I am an Italian student who graduated from the University of Verona and now lives in Brussels to take the Master in Journalism at ULB. I have already given classes (also English and French to Italian), so I have some experience. I learned several languages and this allows me to understand the difficulties that can be found. My goal is to advance the person grammatically and lexically and to allow him to have a conversation in Italian. If necessary, I am available to move to the student's home.
