As someone who has gone to LAMDA, one of the top drama schools in the country, I have had a lot of experience in auditioning for drama school, and can draw upon my own successes (and failures!) to help you give the best audition possible. These classes would explore self in an objective way that would allow one to be able to portray fun, honest characters.

It would specialize in line delivery, characterization and interpretation.

I've been a professional actor for 20 years (BA,MA at Drama Center London), studied various techniques, held workshops and one to one coaching sessions. I can work with different levels of experience starting from discovery steps to text analysis, emotional preparation (drama, comedy, poetry, film, TV), finding the bridge between you and the character, understanding the truth of the circumstances and finding the joy of being authentic and creative in your choices.

Every actor refers back to their own life when creating a connection with the character they are to play- I've been a qualified life coach for the last 7 years and I have the knowledge and experience that can support you to tap safely into aspects of your personality that will serve the character.

About me:
I have trained across a range of disciplines, studying clown and physical comedy at Ecole Philippe Gaulier before completing the 3-year training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where I received The Cormac Richards Young Actor Award for outstanding performance. Past students include Oliva Coleman, Jeremy Irons and Daniel Day-Lewis.

Since graduating I have worked with Full House Theatre; guest-starred on an episode of BBC1's Doctors; played Toby Belch and Sebastian in a production of Twelfth Night with the Orange Tree Theatre, and played Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol with Half Cut Theatre. Most recently I've been back at the Orange Tree playing Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

In this class you'll learn how to move on stage, how to be confident with public speaking, how to use your creativity and your imagination to embody different characters. I've designed this class for it to mix necessary theatre technical skills such as placement, voices etc with fun acting activities ranging from improvisation to classical plays.It can also be adapted to any ages or level of acting. If the class is on webcam, I will design the class for it to be inventive and create a theme for each of the meetings.

My name is Vanessa and I am an actress, teacher and producer currently based in London, United Kingdom.

As well as training and performing within the Theatre industry since 2011, I have also taught art disciplines such as acting, singing and dance and dance fitness from the ages of 3 upwards. Some of my performance credits include, Motown The Musical, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray and Legally Blonde to name a few.

I also founded and ran Outburst Theatre from 2010 - 2019 as a platform to bring communities together in South East London via educational theatre projects. Movement for actors. This class explores Laban fundamentals to develop movement ability and application, providing an understanding of the influential movement system and how it can enhance your physicality and performance. We can work on a full understanding of the Laban system or actor movement coaching for specific work. Extensive experience teaching with organisations such as LSDA and Central School of Speech and Drama.

I am a music, singing and drama teacher, based in London, with a BMus (Hons) from the Royal Northern College of Music. I have 12 years of teaching experience in 1-1 and group settings for ages 4 to 18, with a number of my students gaining West End success. I have taught a range of exam syllabuses and genres, including ABRSM, Trinity Rock & Pop Vocals and Classical Singing, LAMDA Musical Theatre, LAMDA Acting and LAMDA Verse & Prose.
I am a Vocal Health First Aider, which means I have an understanding of vocal health and the factors that can affect vocal wellbeing.
