Sessions could be focused on review the student paper A little about myself. I am Ph.D. student in Electronic Engineering at Imec, Leuven. I lived in the USA twice, as an exchange Student at MIT for a year and as a J1 worker at McDonald's for 3 months. I have scored 103 and 112 in the two times I did the TOEFL exam, and I scored at the 99% math percentile in my GRE score. I was born in Brazil, thus Portuguese native speaker, and I have lived in Leuven for two years, so we can communicate in basic Dutch.

Mathematics, French, Dutch, Scientific subjects, Economics and guidance during studies
I studied Latin Sciences at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege in Brussels and I am currently in my 3rd bachelor's degree in Applied Economics (TEW) at the KUL. Mathematics, science subjects, and languages can be challenging. I therefore offer my services to provide additional support to students in secondary school. Together with my students, I go over the course material, do sufficient exercises and discuss with them what the right study approach is. My goal is for them to master their learning material well and ultimately achieve a good end result. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!

Mathematics Tutoring for Elementary and Highschool Students/ Help with Homework
I am a Mathematician with a specialization in Mathematics Education and I provide private tutoring in Mathematics for students in Primary and Secondary Education. I have graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and I am currently a Master's student in Educational Studies at KU Leuven. My goal is to adapt the teaching of Mathematics to the individual needs of the student. Every child thinks, creates, and learns differently and this is something I encourage my students to discover. I build students' self-confidence by encouraging them to take initiative and not be afraid to dare even if they are wrong. In this way, they gain confidence and stop seeing Mathematics as something unattainable. Seminars - Training -Educational Psychology (University of Athens) -Special Education: Convergence Interdisciplinary Practices (University of Athens) -Understanding Research Methods (University of London) -Intercultural Learning and Skills (University of Athens)

Arina
(Private) Mathematics tutoring for secondary school students
- As for the lessons. The lessons are about mathematics of secondary education. More specifically, I will assist in the theoretical processing of mathematics as its application (the exercises). In addition, I will provide additional study material (aids, schedules, ...) if necessary. - Way of handling. I would like to have an overview in advance of the study material, the tests or tasks in which certain problems are visible, .... This way I can prepare the lessons in advance and focus on the problem. In addition, I can estimate / determine his / her level in this way. I try, in a simple way and for the student in an understandable way, to explain the course in a different way so that this is clear to the student. Afterwards I like to enjoy the results. - Why am I doing this? Math is a passion of mine and for me there is nothing more fun than sharing my passion. Unfortunately, my love for mathematics is not part of my studies and that is why I like to do this as a hobby and as an extra income. Of course I work professionally. - Experiences? I love nothing more than tutoring my fellow students about the subject matter. This is appreciated by them. Of course I also have experience in tutoring mathematics of both primary and secondary education. - Who am I? My name is Arina and I am a legal practice student. I am 22 years old and I live in a student flat in Leuven. In high school itself, I had a traumatic experience in first and second high school for mathematics. I thought it was a very interesting and cool subject, but I just couldn't understand it. During these years I had the same teacher, who did not teach me the subject matter in a, for me, the right way. After (compulsory by my parents) tutoring, my interest in mathematics increased to such an extent that I started studying economics mathematics in the following years. My love for math just won't go away...

Ward

Mira
Tutoring in mechanics, physics, technical drawing or electricity
My name is Mira, I am 23 years old and I will graduate as an industrial engineer in 2022. I am currently a PhD student in the Mechanical Department of KU Leuven. Here I teach industrial engineering students every week. I have also been active at Chiro for 17 years. Who are my tutoring sessions intended for: - Secondary education students (12-18 years) -Higher education students (college or university) Subjects: - physics - dynamics - statics - technical drawing - electricity I am a person with a lot of patience and attach great importance to good communication. Through an initial conversation we discover together where exactly the bottlenecks lie. We can then tackle these together by going through step-by-step theory and exercises. You will then be given some assignments to complete at home that we can then look at together. I'm sure you are capable of much more than you think! Together we become real experts!

Lucas
Mathematics and Science for Secondary Education
Mathematics and science subjects can weigh heavily on your study career during secondary education. It is therefore important to perform well on this. This can be a challenge for many students, especially in the third grade. In my lesson I try to explain the subject matter to students based on their own course, my old course and extra exercises. The ultimate goal is that the students gain a better understanding of their course.

Mathieu
Mathematics, French, Dutch, Scientific subjects, Economics and guidance in studying
I myself studied Economics Mathematics for 6 hours in secondary school and I am now studying Commercial Engineering at the KULeuven. My Mathematics and Physics are excellent. I passed both. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!

You name it. You can count on me!

François
Tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics and French region of Leuven (secondary)
I am a TEW student at the KULeuven and would like to offer my services to secondary school students who could use some help outside school hours. Together with my students, I look for the right study approach to fully understand the courses and I myself try to present the subject matter in a different way so that my students gain more insight into the subject matter to be known. I myself graduated from the Sint-Albertus College in Haasrode with a diploma in science mathematics (6 hours) and I was brought up perfectly bilingual (Dutch-French).

Hemant Kumar
Learn fundamental to advance physics and mathematics concepts
Introduction to concepts of physics in a more elaborated and experimentally oriented way for school students is the theme of the class. Concepts of physics are introduced in practical way so you can also relate to concepts. Having a PhD in photonics and optical fiber, students who needed more specialised focus can also contact. I prefer to keep personal classes then a group one.

Catalin
Mathematics (at all levels) and high-school Physics. SAT, GRE, and GMAT exam preparation.
Experienced teacher (international schools and private tutoring) with a Master's degree in Mathematics, currently doing a Master's in Statistics at KU Leuven. I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress.
