Foundational Math is a skill that students need to navigate their studies and the outside world. In this online course, students will be assisted and taught core math topics according to grade level. I will also asses your student to determine their educational needs, and adjust my lesson plan from there. This ensures that the sessions are individualized for the student's needs and results in the most progress. This course offers interactive methods of engaging students, making the material relevant to them and allowing them a voice when determining what they would like to focus on. As your child continues their sessions and progress through the topics, I will provide optional practice worksheets. Below, you can find descriptions of the main topics covered in each grade/age level. Although there are specific topics outlined, I can adapt to discussing different topics and questions your child may have.

Mijn doel is om de lestof zo begrijpelijk te maken dat leerlingen geen moeite meer hebben met hun struikelblokken. In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.

Vervolgens oefenen we met het berekenen van afgeleiden van veelvoorkomende functies, zoals veeltermen en eenvoudige samengestelde functies. Daarna passen we dit toe door de helling in een specifiek punt te bepalen en het bijbehorende raaklijnvoorschrift op te stellen.
