Singing and Songwriting can be a wonderful profession or mode of creative expression and some weekly scheduling in of practise and consistency will always improve and widen your knowledge and skills.

I offer regular or one off classes with a focus on voice work, scales, Indian classical scales and songs.

Each regular session we will work on the voice and finding your unique voice, developing singing technique, working on a song of choice. Where requested, we can work on songwriting technique and style as well as lyrical choices.

You will learn how to create regularity to your singing and improve your vocal capacity, bringing depth to how you sing your chosen songs or allowing you to create your own compelling material that you can work on yourself or take to musicians.

I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. My name is Eman, I'm a certified Voice & Speech Therapist at Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
Working at Demrdash Hospital & Ain Shams Specialized Hospital as a Voice & Speech Therapist.

- Cysts on the vocal cords, growths that aren't cancer.

B) Neurogenic causes: organic voice disorders that result from problems with the central or peripheral nervous system innervation to the larynx that affect functioning of the vocal mechanism, such as:
- Vocal tremor.
- Spasmodic dysphonia.
- Vocal fold paralysis.
- Vocal cord paralysis or weakness.

2- Functional causes: voice disorders that result from inefficient use of the vocal mechanism when the physical structure is normal, such as:
- Vocal fatigue.
- Muscle tension Dysphonia or Aphonia.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years.

My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. With determination and hard work, significant progress can be made in a year, allowing one to play simple melodies.

I offer professional online vocal lessons based on classical and operatic technique.
Each session is personalized and lasts between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the student’s goals and needs.
The core of every lesson focuses on healthy vocal technique, including breath support, vocal placement, resonance, range development, and vocalises. We also apply the work to a song of your choice.
