You are originally from England, and we offer English classes in Medellín for primary and intermediate levels, in private lessons tailored to each student's needs. Innovating in methods means studying and understanding how to apply them in the classroom. You can't start and use them without understanding the rationale behind the method and how to achieve results in the necessary time. Furthermore, you must take into account the characteristics of the class group and, above all, any special educational needs that may be present.

There are all kinds of methods, and it's important for teachers to be familiar with new methodologies in case a specific method doesn't work with a particular child in the class or with the entire group. Methods can also be combined if we see that a percentage of children haven't achieved the expected pace and the learning required to continue learning. I am a teacher with years of experience in inclusive education and supporting children and adolescents with special needs.
