My name is Gráinne, aged 24, from Ireland. After I finished my Bachelor degree in Dublin three years ago, I qualified as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and have since been teaching all over the world- in Italy, Chile, Madagascar and The Bahamas, as well as online to Chinese students. I speak Spanish and French also, which can be useful if either of those two languages is your native one.

I have just moved to Utrecht to do a Master's in Sustainable Development at UU and am hoping to continue teaching as I enjoy that side of education as much as being a student again! I actually prefer to teach in person if possible as I think the class is usually more natural, interactive and enjoyable that way, though am flexible in these crazy times we live in! I look forward to having you as my student :D

I specialize in tutoring secondary school students in English language and literature, particularly students from international schools. I am familiar with the IB-programme and similiar programmes. However, exceptions can be made for other students.

I am fluent in both Dutch and English, so tutoring in either language would not be an issue from me. I would prefer to tutor in the area where I live, but exceptions can always be made. Travel costs are not included in the hourly price.
