Ich spiele schon seit vielen Jahren Klarinette und habe mehrjährige Erfahrung als Klarinettenlehrerin. Ich habe bereits in einigen Orchestern, darunter auch Auswahlorchester, gespielt. Meine Anfänge liegen in klassischen Blasmusik, derzeit spiele ich in einem sinfonischen Blasorchester in München.
Ich möchte dich unterstützen, deinen Traum vom Klarinettespielen zu erfüllen. Ich helfe dir, den korrekten Ansatz zu erlernen, gebe dir tägliche Übungen mit auf den Weg. Und zum Abschluss: Gemeinsam musizieren macht am meisten Spaß. Daher werden wir auch kleine Duette zusammen erarbeiten.

Ich arbeite sehr gerne mit deiner Klarinettenschule. Alternativ kann ich, abhängig von deinem Niveau, selber welche mitbringen.

Mir ist sehr wichtig, dass du Spaß hast. Gleichzeitig ist es mir wichtig, dass du zuverlässig bist und Unterrichtstermine einhältst.

Opleiding

Schon seit mehr als 20 Jahren spiele ich mit großer Begeisterung Klarinette. Aus Leidenschaft für die Musik habe ich mich dann für ein Studium der Musikwissenschaft entschieden. Ich kann dir also ein "Rund-um-Paket" mit Praxis und Theorie bieten.

Ich habe bei der Musikkapelle St. Vitus in Burglengenfeld Klarinettenunterricht in der Gruppe von ca. fünf Schülern gegeben. Nebenbei gab ich noch privat Einzelunterricht.

Would you like to learn one of the instruments which have more style possibilities? Would you like to know why many composers say that is a very powerful instrument because it fits in may situations? Did you know that in the Klezmer history clarinet substituted the violin for projection reasons but also because perfectly able to imitate the human voice, crying or laughing? One of my priorities as a musician is the sound. I believe that with a beautiful and personal sound you are able at every level to transmit emotion and meaning, it doesn’t matter the difficulty or the level. So I try to focus first on awareness of what’s beautiful for the student and what’s not. Then through technique and repertoire (suggestions of the student or suggestions of mine that can help to grow the student curiosity), we develop the student knowledge.

Always helping the student to understand -depending on his/her the theoretical level- what we are doing, putting together music and theory. And giving tools to expand the border, at all levels. I have knowledge and experience in Jazz, Classical, Klezmer, Choro Music and Improvisation.

• Music Theory
I focus on having a good basics, spending as much as we need to understand every single thing, because then with times it becomes more easy. I try to help the student simplifying the material because then, we only with ourselves with a good procedure of the basics to solve any problem. Only with one lesson, you will understand what I mean.

I have experience in preparing students for exams, the ones for the semester as well as any official exam; doesn't matter if you have an intermediate theory level and you want to improve, or if you would like to be stronger solidifying the knowledge you have (which is always the best option), or if you don’t know anything about notes and music concepts and you would like to be familiar with them. Maybe you are an adult who always wanted to improvise but doesn’t know where to start...?
The only thing you need is a good organization -which I can provide- to reach any goal!

Steven is basklarinet-specialist en componist. Af en toe is hij ook nog actief als klarinettist, het instrument waarmee hij zijn studie aan het conservatorium begon.

Naast zijn opleiding in aan het Koninkijk conservatorium Gent heeft Laurens al verscheidene keren de kans genoten om bij te leren in een aantal masterclasses van o.a. Arno Piters (Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest), Davide Lattuada (Koninklijk Concergebouworkest), Bart de Karter (Nieuw Amsterdams KlarinetKwartet), Pascal Moragues (Orchestre de Paris), Ricardo Mataredonna (De Muntschouwburg), David Van Maele (Koninklijke Muziekkapel van de Gidsen), Bart Watté (Koninklijke Muziekkapel van de Gidsen) etc.

Ik bied klarinetlessen aan jonge of volwassen muzikanten die graag klarinet spelen ongeacht of je een beginner of een gevorderde speler bent. Ik werk vanuit een holistisch principe waarin ik me baseer op verschillende methodieken voor de klarinetpraktijk (voor beginners is dit bijvoorbeeld Jan van Beekum, horen lezen en spelen of Collis. Voor de gevorderden speler bijvoorbeeld Collis, Gambaro, Uhl of Cavallini). Ik geef ondermeer onderwijs in muzikaliteit, expressie, muzikale zinnen, ademhaling, toonvorming, technische beheersing en ritmiek. Zelf volg ik nog klarinetlessen aan het conservatorium van Zwolle en ik streef ernaar mijn vaardigheden daar opgedaan aan de leerling mee te geven.

With a background melting classical and contemporary clarinet performance, to theatrical movement, masks, and storytelling, I bring a fresh approach to music education. My experience includes leading creative workshops for children through the Philharmonie de Paris and developing artistic projects for young audiences.

In my classes, we explore sound as character, rhythm as movement, and performance as story.
For me, the body is the key to learning : I guide students to develop their body awareness as part of learning, an approach often missing from traditional lessons.

I am offering one-to-one clarinet and bass clarinet lessons to students of all ages and abilities. All musical styles are welcome!

My approach is to make music enjoyable and adapt to the student's needs. If you would like to go through the grading system, that's no problem. But if you would just like to learn to play so that you can jam with your friends, that's also fine. Lessons will be catered towards your goals and ambitions.

Ik bied klarinetlessen aan jonge of volwassen muzikanten die graag klarinet spelen ongeacht of je een beginner of een gevorderde speler bent. Ik werk vanuit een holistisch principe waarin ik me baseer op verschillende methodieken voor de klarinetpraktijk (voor beginners is dit bijvoorbeeld Jan van Beekum, horen lezen en spelen of Collis. Voor de gevorderden speler bijvoorbeeld Collis, Gambaro, Uhl of Cavallini). Ik geef ondermeer onderwijs in muzikaliteit, expressie, muzikale zinnen, ademhaling, toonvorming, technische beheersing en ritmiek. Zelf volg ik nog klarinetlessen aan het conservatorium van Zwolle en ik streef ernaar mijn vaardigheden daar opgedaan aan de leerling mee te geven.

Wil je meer uit je klarinetlessen halen? Mijn begeleiding is bedoeld als aanvulling (of heropstarten) op je reguliere lessen bij je professionele klarinetleraar. Ik kan met je oefenen bij je lessen, tips geven bij het instuderen en spelen, je hebt een extra oefen- en speelmoment, ik kan tijd nemen om te werken aan ademhaling en klank, om met je te werken aan toonladders en technische oefeningen, het uitzoeken van rietjes voor beginners, repertoire, ...
Door deze extra oefenmomenten ga je sneller vooruit tijdens je les van een professionele klarinetleraar.

With a background melting classical and contemporary clarinet performance, to theatrical movement, masks, and storytelling, I bring a fresh approach to music education. My experience includes leading creative workshops for children through the Philharmonie de Paris and developing artistic projects for young audiences.

In my classes, we explore sound as character, rhythm as movement, and performance as story.
For me, the body is the key to learning : I guide students to develop their body awareness as part of learning, an approach often missing from traditional lessons.

We will explore:

Clarinet technique
Musical interpretation
Improvisation and creativity exercises
Stage presence, movement, and breathing
Connecting music to visual or theatrical elements
