I am an Italian teacher and language coach, and I give online Italian lessons (with invoice).
I started teaching many years ago and have been working independently from Monday to Friday for five years with increasing passion. My school is online.

I am a philologist and speak several languages, which helps my students clarify their doubts. My students come from around fifty countries, and I am proud and enthusiastic to be able to ‘travel’ with them through the Italian language.

📚 I’ve been passionate about languages since primary school — Italian is my native language, and English was my first foreign language at the time. In my teenage years, I decided to add French and Spanish, and at the suggestion of my teachers, I also began taking official language exams such as the French DELF and the Spanish DELE. I also loved literature, and my passion for both languages and literature led me to enroll in the Faculty of Languages and Literature at the University of Bologna, the oldest university in the Western world, founded in 1088.
I later continued my academic journey by earning a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Ferrara, graduating with honors.
In recent years, I’ve also been pursuing a second Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Leadership, which has allowed me to enhance my academic and professional profile, as I have specialized in corporate language learning.

🔝 Besides the German classes I recently started, I keep learning every day — through my work as a language teacher and coach, through my inspiring students who are both learners and professionals, and through my personal life.
I see learning as a circle — a process that cannot be set aside, because it means above all keeping curiosity alive, engaging with others, strengthening self-confidence, and growing and improving as a person, beyond titles and official certifications.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.

Can learning English be fun, insightful, productive and effective at the same time? I believe so!

Whatever your background or profession, deciding to learn a foreign language is a great way to add another dimension to your life and make your mind work in a new way. You become a (slightly) different person, since along with a new language, one learns to look at the world in a slightly different way. This is why my approach to teaching English is not only aimed at laying or strengthening the foundational knowledge - grammar, speaking, writing and listening skills, but also at introducing students to the culture of the English-speaking population. We will find out what English speakers find funny, what drives them to tears, what makes them feel proud and what they get embarrassed about.

Open to students of all levels, my course usually is taught online, using a variety of visual aids and a wide range of material, from textbooks to YouTube videos. In teaching advanced learners, I often refer to pieces of literature such as novels and poems, since they easily spark discussions, which in turn improves the students' grasp and feel of the language. In doing so, I take students beyond ordinary textbooks and grammar books, since they are no more than guides to learning, not absolute authorities, and because to me language is a living, constantly evolving matter, which you must submerge yourself into in order to understand.

My lessons are based on standard conversational (informal) Persian spoken by mainly the middle-class educated people in Iran. I teach in three beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels:

The beginner level is mostly focused on basic grammar and vocabularies and you will learn to make simple sentences and handle basic conversations.
In the intermediate and advanced levels you will gradually learn more vocabularies, will make more sophisticated sentences and will be more confident in communication in Farsi.

Setswana is a rich, rhythmic language spoken in Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Belonging to the Bantu family, it closely resembles other languages in the region.
I have found learning Setswana through several terrific teachers, thorough textbooks and daily life enriching.

Growing up in Botswana, speaking this beautiful and intricate language, or at least making an effort to do so, can transform the way you live in Botswana.
I have taught semester-long regular beginners Setswana lessons to children aged 7-12 and adults, with strong emphasis on understanding grammar by breaking it down into “formulas” for how to form tenses and sentences. I teach these and vocabulary through a mix of traditional explanatory lectures, practice exercises and creative games, accompanied by study techniques I have found very useful for learning foreign languages. I have also worked as a trained English tutor, and study linguistics at university, both of which have shaped me to better understand and teach language.

Each class will consist of grammar formulas (eg: basic conjugation in the present tense: linking pronoun [for the human noun class group, for example: ke=I, o=you, o=him/her, re=we, le=you plural, ba=they] + “tla” [as in “will”] + verb), some vocabulary words, spoken or written exercises or games to go through together and longer practice exercises to build independent confidence.
