I will adapt my classes to suit your needs, so if this is you are just beginning then I can help you build a solid foundation of the English language from which we will learn sentence structure, basic reading comprehension, and pronunciation.

If you already have a basic understanding of the language and are looking to practise or improve, then I will work with you to set your learning goals and adapt my teaching tools accordingly to ensure we meet them. This could include literature study - including comic books if you prefer! We might incorporate music or film, which can be writing your own songs or re-enacting scenes from your favourite films. I strongly believe that we all learn best when the learning is structured and engaging, and my promise to you as your tutor will be that I will use all the skills and tools available to me to meet you at whatever level you are at.

I am a tutor of Italian and English as a foreign/second language. I had the opportunity to teach in different contexts with multicultural groups of students from many countries and backgrounds. This class is for students who require assistance with editing academic or other work.

My goal is to improve the English content of students' written work as well as grammar. I will provide constructive feedback to enable students to develop their writing. This class will be offered for GCSE English onwards and includes university dissertations and other pieces of written work.

For Linguistics and Phonetics you will go through your university course assignments with me, we shall do "Chomskian trees" and we shall discuss theoretical points (eg GB theory, minimalist program). For Phonetics, IPA symbols and phonetic structures and theories (auto-segmental phonology and optimality theory). WARNING: there are many approaches to these theories, we shall go by what has been adopted at your university.

A comprehensive English class for beginners to advanced! Taught by a native English speaker and lessons can be in Italian or French. We will be speaking English for most of the class, you will have speaking practice every lesson as well as listening, reading and writing which I will correct and mark. We will have grammar lessons and I will explain common mistakes you make, as well as taking you through complicated pronunciation or grammar rules.
