From an early age, I have been captivated by the power of problem solving and the transformative nature of reading. This passion has driven me to excel in Maths and English, and I find great joy in simplifying complex concepts and making difficult ideas easily understandable for my students.
My tutoring journey began in 2001 when I started supporting students in secondary school after completing my degree. Witnessing their growth and improvement ignited my passion for teaching and inspired me to expand my reach. Over the years, I have worked with local children, boosting their confidence in Maths and English and helping them achieve better results.
One of the most transformative experiences of my life was living as a monk in India. During this time, I volunteered for a charity that focused on food distribution and education in the slums of Mumbai. I provided crucial support to children with learning difficulties and complex behaviours, enabling them to reach their academic goals. This experience highlighted the empowering nature of education and further fuelled my desire to make a positive impact through teaching.
Upon returning to the UK, I dedicated my efforts to mentoring young adults in a non-profit spiritual organisation. By offering pastoral care, guidance, and coordinating various activities, I aimed to inspire ethical development and foster a growth mindset. Additionally, I organised international trips and delivered presentations on philosophy, self-development, and mindfulness to demonstrate the practical application of these principles in their lives.
