I have a degree in education and a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language. I tutor students online as well as through private in-person sessions. My goal is to increase English proficiency so that all of my students feel comfortable and confident speaking, listening, reading and writing in English.

Hello, I am an English teacher with a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language from the United States living in Lisbon, Portugal. I love teaching and I have worked with both children and adults in English instruction. I believe that learning English should be interactive and interpersonal. Therefore, I provide a lot of opportunities for my students to practice and use the language in natural, interpersonal settings. We will work on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, and learn language necessary for everyday interactions as well as school-related or work-related language.

Recently graduated from a master's degree in international affairs and intercultural communication, I decided to come to Lisbon for 1 year.
I offer tutoring courses in languages (Spanish - bilingual and English - fluent) and help with homework.

In the globalized world we live nowadays, communication is crucial, and the knowledge of an international language as a tool is essential. English is becoming more and more a requisite, in order to be able to communicative effectively across cultures.
