About Me

I am a Violinist, Violist and Composer born in Barcelona. After acquiring a Diploma of Higher Education on Violin Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I am now doing a double Bachelor: Viola Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, and Composition at the Universität der Künste Berlin.
I am always searching for new ways of learning and teaching that will help me and my students. I find it very interesting and it seems to be very rewarding for all of us!

Arianna
Songwriter & Graduate Voice Coach teaches singing, composition and music theory in and around Brussels.
As a vocal coach, I understand that it is important to develop a good vocal technique but also to develop self-confidence and mastery of oneself in order to be able to deliver the best of oneself in any situation. I deal with students of all levels and ages. I explore with them different musical fields according to their desires and affinities. My classes are a mix of technique, improvisation and practice. I really like the practice to include an element of interactivity with my students and so that they are able to come out of my lessons with mastered pieces, in their own way. Indeed, I also like to take the time to research with my students their own inner voices and talents so that they really find themselves artistically speaking; a kind of musical inner journey. So, if you are looking to develop your vocal and musical abilities as well as develop your own artistic voice, do not hesitate to contact me!

Esther
Adapted tuition for violin and solfege // Private violin lessons
Violinist graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have several years of educational experiences. I propose adapted courses for all levels. I taught at the conservatory, and in music school. The courses are divided into several parts. The first is learning the basics (for beginners), the technique of the violin, then the consolidation of the notions of music theory and finally the discovery of pieces. I work in a fun, but demanding way while listening to students. My methods vary according to the needs of the students. I have been teaching for 10 years. I started many students who are now able to have fun playing all types of repertoire. I also accompany the more advanced levels in their artistic work. My teaching allows students to gain autonomy, while developing their musicality. I am a graduate violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with several years of teaching experience. I offer violin lessons for all levels of learning. Lessons contain several elements. The first one will focus on the basics (for beginners) of violin technic (skills, bowing exercises, tuning ...), some point on notation and musical culture . I want to work in a relaxed way, always attentive to the student's needs. I adapt my methods to each and every person.

Guitar lessons (also by WEBCAM), harmony, improvisation ...
Hello everyone ! I am 39 years old, I am a professional guitarist and graduate composer. My rich and varied musical journey, going from "Art Rock" to Classic, passing by French song and currently jazz allowed me to acquire a beautiful experience that I like to share with my students. Obviously passionate about my favorite instrument, I am just as passionate about music theory. From baroque counterpoint to jazz harmony, from classical orchestration to digital music publishing, I have always thought that understanding the sound universe multiplies perspectives, opens up new horizons! My method is simple and has always proven to be effective: working in symbiosis with pure instrumental technique and the general understanding of music, its cogs which seem to the novice musician so mysterious. In addition to basic instrument learning, I also teach: 🎸️ Experimental instrumental techniques 🎸️ Work of virtuosity 🎸️ Picking game 🎤️ How to go well with singing 🎵️ Arrangement 🎵️ Composition 🎵️ Harmony (classical or jazz) 🎵️ Improvisation 💻️ MAO (Computer Aided Music) Exploring musical styles: #Pop #EXP #Classique #Electro #Jazz #Jazz Manouche #Art & Hard Rock #Chanson Française #Blues #Funk (60's / 70's) 🎥️ Possibility of lessons by webcam ️🇬🇧️ I also speak English 🏡️ I give lessons mainly at my home: Châtelain district in Ixelles, many transport nearby: 🚊️ bus (54), tram (92, 94, 81.) and metro (Louise). 🐸️ GREAT BEGINNERS welcome! (no prior knowledge necessary) See you soon !

SAXOPHONE LESSONS / Master's Degree in music / 5 years living and playing in New York City!
Have you ever seen a saxophone and wondered how it feels to play it? It’s never too late to start! I will help you get started with the instrument. Do you already know how the instrument works? Great! Let’s take it to another level! I have plenty of study method books with a big range of different styles, we will find the ones that you enjoy the most and suit you better and combine it in the right way, to help you improve. Plus work on any music that you personally want to learn, name any song and I will help you learn how to play it! I myself had amazing and terrible music teachers during my learning process and believe me, I know what a difference makes... To really enjoy learning music or just to feel a ‘must study’, is the difference between ‘...I have to’ or ‘I want to!’. I finished a Bachelor and a Master's degree in the Music Conservatory (The Hague) and then spent five years in the jazz scene in New York City, which gave me a very wide experience. Whether you are a beginner or preparing to enter a Music Conservatory, I can help you. Classes description: I have different study books we can use depending on the level, Wastall, Klose, Voxman, classic duets, jazz duets, Rubank, Horen, Lezen & Spelen, etc.... Plus I can write for you the songs you want to learn. If you have specific needs of topics to learn I will adapt the lesson and material to it. If what you want is to start or develop further in jazz music and/or improvisation, I’m definitely ready to help you! Beginners: Start finding the sound of the instrument, where the notes are within all those keys, begin with learning how to read music if you don’t read yet, and find easy and fun songs to play to enjoy the instrument already. I can introduce you to the understanding of basic harmony and theory concepts to help understand better inside music that you are playing. Intermediate: We can get to improve the technique of the instrument, reading skills, get more precision, speed, sound and timing and musical expression. Advance the understanding of harmony, its beauty and its possibilities. If you like to work on improvisation we can get to discover how to enjoy improvising with all the technical tools you already learned in the past and enhance that material according to your taste. If you want to start with playing jazz music I can introduce you to first steps and nice and technically comfortable songs to begin with. Advanced: At an advanced level it’s very important to understand the direction you want to take and what you especially want to improve. However I can help you perfectionate sound and timing, rhythm, vibrato, etc..., work on the accuracy of the reading and at the same time make it sound musical and human. On jazz music and/or improvisation, expand the vocabulary for improvising, the knowledge of harmony, what you can do with the material you know from different perspectives, increase precision and sense of direction when phrasing lines, learn more jazz standards, help on original compositions. And of course share all the better understanding of jazz music I learned during my years in New York City.

Trumpet school in Brussels
New trumpet school in Brussels whose teaching method is unique in Belgium. It is based on the student's memory technique (visual, auditory, bodily). We are all different and it is not the pupil who must adapt to the pedagogical project but it is this one which must be thought according to him. This method is also based on the flourishing of music. Our courses are not limited to the learning of the instrument as such, we place great emphasis on the assimilation of music by the body. For this we train the student in body rhythm and we include outings, among other sports, in our program. The school's teachers are specialized in various fields: jazz, classical, instrument technique, improvisation technique,... which will allow the student to choose according to his desires and to meet his expectations. He will also benefit from personalized follow-up. Our courses are open to all levels. It is the student who will determine his schedules with his teacher. This flexibility will give him great freedom in the organization of his schedule. The school curriculum is spread over three years and will allow the student to acquire a knowledge of a large part of scales, rhythms, to develop his musical ear, a culture of the great moments of the music and to have a better knowledge of his body through the approach of rhythm and breathing. The prospects sought by our school for the pupil is that he can quickly be confronted with the happiness of playing in a group.

Aliya
Piano lessons online or in real life for everyone, as well as music theory, solfeggio and harmony
Classical music is a unique way of self-expression and inner development. In addition to certain skills of playing an instrument, you also develop your memory, motor skills, synchronicity and much more. I am a third-year student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, but also a laureat of international competitions. My musical journey began in my hometown in Kazakhstan, and then in Moscow at the Tchaikovsky Central Music School (which I graduated with a diploma of distinction). In addition to concert activities, I teach piano and music theory for everyone (beginners, professionals). I try to find a personal approach to each of my students, as this is the only way to achieve success. Hoping to help everyone who wants to discover classical music!
