Then I started to learn double bass,
Now I’m experienced enough to teach myself teaching and learning from
Enthousiastic musical people. I have a passion and am happy to welcome you and spend time devoted to music!
Basic guitar playing to playing along by ear.
I am eager to pass the knowledge on to people who want to learn about playing guitar, from
Folk to jazz. I learn you about chords, jazz harmony. We look for songs to work on. I can give you homework, small achievements create big improvements!

Bachelor degree in Jazz studies (guitar) at LucaSchoolOfArts
Began a second bachelor (double bass) in KASK
Went to jazz stages in dworp and wépion
attended many masterclasses and lessons from many great players
enjoyed lessons from great belgian jazz educators.

Professional drummer and specialized in Jazz.
Born in Naples, Italy
Living in Ghent, Belgium

Emiliano Della Giovanna was born into music. Born into an artistic family in Naples, Emiliano practiced guitar and drums in his youth. His passion for drums drives him to enroll in private music schools, where he is taught by several renowned musicians, including names such as Billy Cobham, Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl and Gregg Bissonette.
In 2006 Emiliano specializes in Jazz and is accepted at the conservatory in Siena, called Seminario Senesi di Musica Jazz. His talent is appreciated. He receives a scholarship to continue his studies at the seminar for Nuoro Jazz in Sardinia. In addition to his studies, he collaborates with Mr. Umberto Guarino and establishes a music school "Studio 40" in Naples. Here he teaches drum and rhythmic music theory.

During and after his studies Emiliano plays in various formations, from classical orchestras to Jazz and Rock bands, including Renzo Arbore, Vittorio Marsignia and Sergio Colicchio. MSC and Costa Crociere offer him nine contracts so that, in addition to teaching on the mainland, he travels around the world for eight years as part of an orchestra aboard various cruise ships. In February 2013, Emiliano moved to Ghent (Belgium) as a proud father, where he focused on jazz, world music and rock, as well as paternity. He is also active as a teacher at the Harteklop music school.

As director of the Artmusic music school in Destelbergen, founded in November 2015, Emiliano teaches drum, guitar and rhythmic music theory and organizes weekly jam sessions.

I DISCOVERED THE FLAMENCO GUITAR AT THE AGE OF THIRTEEN AND SOON MASTERED
THE RHYTHMI C COMPLEXITY OF THIS MUSIC. WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED ITSELF,
I MOVED TO SEVILLE AND STUDIED THERE WITH MASTERS OF FLAMENCO GUITAR SUCH AS
GERARDO NÚÑEZ, JM CAÑIZARES, MANOLO SANLUCAR AND NIÑO DE P URA. MY VIRTUOSITY
WAS NOTICED AND THAT EARNED ME THE SCHOLARSHIP TO STUDY AT THE FUNDACIÓN
CRISTINA HEEREN. I HAVE A THIRD DEGREE AND I WAS ALSO FINALIST AT THE FAMOUS
GUITAR CONTESTS I N MURCIA. ( SPAIN ).
ONCE BASED IN BELGIUM, I CONTINUED MY STUDIES AT THE JAZZ STUDIO IN ANTWERP.
IN THE MEANTIME, I HAVE DEVELOPED A VARIED ARTISTIC CAREER AS A FLAMENCO
GUITARIST AND COMPOSER. MY MUSIC RANGES FROM TRADITIONAL FLAMENCO TO
BLENDS OF JAZZ, PERSIAN, TURKISH AND LATIN AMERICAN STYLES, WORKING WITH
MUSICIANS FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AS WELL AS DANCERS, SINGERS AND
ACTORS. WITH MY FLAMENCO - JAZZ GROUP SONIQUETE I RELEASED THE CD
BURBUJAS IN 2011.
