My name is Jessica and I am 26. I'm a journalist specialized in communication from Barcelona, so I deeply know Spanish and Catalan language and culture.

I offer private classes of all levels for children, teenagers and adults. A part from academic exercises, I include games, songs, movies and series in my teaching method. You will also have the chance to learn a lot about the Spanish culture (its music, cinema, literature, gastronomy and way of life).

I'm an avid reader and a nature and travel lover! Apart from my job as journalist, I have a travel blog for adventurous women that are in love with our planet, its people and its differences.

I'm also passionate about cinema, series and food, and about meeting people from all over the world, to share experiences and opinions, and to learn together about life.

To know a language is to be able to speak it. Too often, we do not learn vocabulary lists and grammar rules, without being able to utter a single word. This does not interest me!
My goal when I learn a language is to speak it, to communicate, to be able to fend for myself without the aid of a translator, and to learn through the language the mysteries of culture.
When I exercise my role as a teacher, I always have these same goals in mind. I therefore base my courses in a communicative approach that aims to be able to talk and share since the first class. For this I use role plays, scenarios, dialogues and other exercises related to the reality of the learner.

I also do accompaniment of adults to real life settings, brining the language to life.
