Would you like to travel (for leisure or business) to or live in Latin America? Do you love watching Argentinean movies or listening to Mexican music? This class is for everyone who wants to learn more than just Spanish. The classes breath Latin American culture. I am a very dynamic teacher with a personalized, challenging and practical approach.

As a speech therapy student, I am very much in favor of reading. For children and young people with dyslexia this is not a matter of course. I also try to increase their reading pleasure on a level that is acceptable to these children and young people. I can also provide various tricks to make their life with dyslexia more pleasant.

Coming from Germany, I specialize in tutoring German for school, adults and preparing for different exams.
My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson.
Every lesson will be tailored to the specific needs of each student.
I have a degree in languages and have 14 years experience in teaching languages (individual classes and as a substitute teacher at school).
I like to see the progress that students make.

Although I am happy to explain and practice grammatical issues, the focus is on effective, correct and appropriate communication by using visual material, videos, interesting topics for discussion and challenging quizzes. As I have advanced knowledge of French, German and Czech, I can particularly appreciate and correct the issues speakers of these languages have in English, but this is also the case for Dutch speakers.

There is also the possibility of specialist English courses in the areas linked to my experience (see below): how the EU works; environmental, energy, regional or agricultural policies; economics.
