The classes I offer are for students in grades 1 through 6 of high school. I graduated from Sint-Jan Berchmans College in science/mathematics, and I've just finished my master's degree in energy from UCL as a civil engineer, so I've put in a lot of hours of math and science. As an engineer, I would like to help other students navigate the sometimes complex world of mathematics and physics. During my studies, I tutored for 6 years in secondary schools in the region of The Hague, Delft, Rotterdam and Antwerp. I try to go through the course material interactively with the student and link theoretical concepts as much as possible to examples from our daily lives in order to prepare and motivate the student.

Hello,
My name is Maximilien, I am 23 years old and I am currently a Master 2 student at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) where I am pursuing a Master's degree in Energy Engineering in English.

After completing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at UCLouvain (physics-chemistry and mechanics option), I decided to continue my studies at the neighboring university.
The subjects I teach are mathematics, chemistry and physics.

Having also obtained my humanities diploma at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege, I can give lessons in French, Dutch or English.

I like to actively involve my students in the course so that they understand the material well but above all that they find interest in it. I start from the principle that it is difficult to succeed in a subject without appreciating it a minimum and above all finding what it really serves us for!

In general, I like to start by reviewing the latest questions/exams to assess the level and needs of the student.
Then we go through the theory necessary to carry out the exercises and finally finish with exercise sessions together.
I am a dynamic and attentive person who quickly understands students (I was in their shoes not so long ago), which allows me to create a relationship of trust, so that the student feels comfortable and asks ALL the questions he has, and does not hesitate to say when things are not going well.

In this class I help kids learn math and science in a fun and easy way. I explain things step by step and use games, examples, and simple activities so everything is easier to understand.
