I offer piano lessons, with solfege training in parallel if necessary. I work with all ages and levels. I adapt pieces and ways of learning to each student, any propositions from the students are also welcomed :) So what are you waiting for? Let's learn music together!

I have been playing the piano since I was 3 years old. Having passed through several establishments, I now study at the Royal Concervatory of Brussels. I have been teaching piano for 3 years. I have experience in working with young children, but also any other age group. Thanks to my previous job, I also have work experience with children with special needs or learning disabilities. I find different approaches to each student, and will find a way to any person who wants to learn piano!

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.
English, Nederlands, française, Deutsch.
I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students.
I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello organ, and piano.

Age limit & musical knowledge:
Minimum age of 5 years old is required to attend the classes. For private classes such as solfeggios and piano lessons, no prior knowledge of music is required.

Payment method & frequency of the lessons:
Based on a period of 1 month, 2 months, or 3 months, students will be asked to fulfill the payment prior to the beginning of the lessons. We suggest attendance on a weekly basis to benefit the most from these courses.
