Swedish for beginners, I live in Sweden at the moment.

I have worked fulltime, for the past 15 years, as a language teacher and translator. I was born in Sweden, to Danish parents and live with an Englishman. I teach said three languages to both private and commercial clients, placing great emphasis on client needs and abilities. Cultural knowledge is also very important to the understanding of any language and is therefore included in all courses. The dreaded grammar is the fundamental building block to a language, but I try to make it as fun as possible.......as well as the homework and self-study.

Hey! My name is Maria, I am Swedish and have been a language trainer with my own language school for 20 years, formerly in Munich and now online from Sweden. With my teaching methodology, you learn Swedish in a practice-oriented manner. After a short time you will acquire a lively vocabulary, a great understanding of the structure of the language and, above all, the desire and confidence to speak. I offer tailored classes as well, but this is my "budget version" where I don't spend any time planning the class. This class is suitable for the independent learner with at least basic knowledge of Swedish. You bring any material that you would like help with, any topics that you would like to talk about, or any questions that you have about Swedish, and we talk about them spontaneously. I can also help you with pronunciation - both "in the moment" and through specific exercises. Right now I cannot take on any new students, but possibly I will be available in summer.
