As a versatile music professional my aim is to teach not only skills in piano playing but also music knowledge and music theory, depending on the level of the student.

I am a pianist and piano teacher from Finland with a ten year experience in teaching piano in a music school children. I have a Master's degree from the prestigious music university Sibelius Academy (Finland) in piano performance, as well as a Master's degree in Music research (University of Helsinki, Finland).

Currently I am on leave of absence of my permanent lecturer's position in a Finnish music school because I am working on my PhD degree. However when living in Amsterdam I am looking forward to teach a few students!

You will start to enjoy playing the piano both during and outside of the time of the class. You will learn how to be able to perform in a way that inspires your audience. I will teach you the basic music theory without going way deep into it because this is a performance class but you will learn what you need to excel in your performance. Additionally, I will teach you the principles of aesthetics of playing the piano. The repertoire that I focus on is mostly Western modern and Classical music, but we can also work on some famous Persian and Turkish pieces if you like. Of course, you are also always welcome to bring your favorite pieces to the class. Contact me for availability.

Drs Irene – Bellucci BBA BMA has more than 20 years of experience as a singing teacher in more than 12 countries and is now a household name among famous singers and actors all over the world – from the Netherlands to the United States. Her enormous knowledge of the voice and performing as a musician and her great didactic skills are some of her characteristic features.

Irene studied classical and modern singing at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Haarlem and in the United States with Joan Lader (Broadway musical) and in Italy at the Accademia di Belcanto with Astrea Amaduzzi. Irene's knowledge covers all singing techniques, such as belcanto, verismo, belting, pop-curbing, and is based on scientific research that ranges from classical pedagogues to the most contemporary insights into voice use.

Breath support and sound formation are the indispensable basis for a good, powerful and healthy use of the voice, but many other aspects are important. Hundreds of videos, interviews with voice specialists, quizzes, challenges and workbooks form a complete singing education for all types of singing.

Add to that her humor, enthusiasm and ability to accompany all pieces on the piano without prior knowledge of the song and you know that a singing lesson with Irene is a very educational but also enjoyable experience.

My name is Ben (26), and I'm a certified drum teacher with about 15 years of experience behind the kit. Previously I have studied jazz drums at Kunstuniversitat of Graz. Currently I'm teaching at multiple institutions in Amsterdam such as: Lucky Beat Music Club, United Pop, British School of Amsterdam.

In addition to my performing work as a drummer and composer, I have been teaching drums to motivated students of different levels and ages for over 20 years. As a certified drum teacher (Amsterdam Conservatory), I have my own teaching practice in the Q-factory in Amsterdam East/Oostpoort: Drum Practice East. I gave lessons and workshops to students at the HKU, the Conservatory Amsterdam (pop and jazz departments), Conservatorium Utrecht, DSOP Amsterdam, Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck and Musikhochschule Franz Liszt Weimar (D).

Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I’m teaching private lessons as well as giving masterclasses at festivals. If you are interested in learning to play the panflute or improve your playing skills, I would love to help you along the way. The piano is one of the most universal instruments. As a piano player you can be your own orchestra and play as a soloist, but you can also make beautiful music or accompany ensembles, in any musical style.

In my lessons I want to offer the student a broad foundation on the piano:

learn to read notes, play and interpret existing pieces of music
learn to listen carefully, play it by ear and after a while learn to make your own piano part
playing with chord progressions, gaining insight into harmony and chord theory
learn to improvise and come up with your own pieces
teamwork, because this way you learn to listen even better

My own roots lie in classical music, which provides a good technical basis for the instrument.

Ever since I was a student, I have enjoyed making music the most when you discover various music genres (such as classical, jazz, pop, world music) for yourself. This way you learn to connect these different musical worlds. Hey! My name is Daan and I am a keyboard player, producer and songwriter and I am happy to teach piano at your home in Amsterdam.

I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam pop department and am also very active in bands (as a keyboardist, singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer) and as a producer/songwriter in various genres.

As a teacher, I am mainly concerned with what the student wants to achieve and what can be gotten out of the student. Do you want to learn that one new song by Billie Eilish, or an advanced piece by Stevie Wonder; I can always help you. The great thing about music is that you can learn and perform it at all kinds of levels. My job is to find the right level for the right student, so that progress can be made at the same time as there is fun during the lessons.

In addition, I find it important that my students not only play the piano, but also understand the music and build up a knowledge of the music theory behind the pieces. This has helped me a lot to quickly make big steps as a musician.

You can also contact me if you write songs yourself and maybe even produce them that you want to take to a higher level. I can give you all kinds of tips to get the best out of your own compositions through my experience as a songwriter/producer.
