ARTS - FROM CLASSICAL DRAWING ALL THROUGH MATERIALITY
The practical insight has been developed throughout enduring studies from 2 different institutional perspectives inspired the urge to convey this to the art enthusiasts of all levels and age. Each age is special within the education similarly all targets pointed from the creative spirits creating thus various anticipations. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach.
However the one who lasts for foundation and aspires him/her the concept of taking it further to possible academic preparation will grab charcoals, a spoke, the required papers, instal from simple to complex still life compositions and set forth the journey of academic drawing theory. And then, of course, start with colour, of both acrylic and oil medium.
Pre-school children, children and teenagers are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. Needless to say that suchlike classes do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants.
The aforementioned forms of classes are applicable to all ages.

About Me
I’m 30 years old visual artist from the Mediterranean situated Island of Cyprus. I have three years of work experience in various positions. I inherently possess a spontaneous keen on behavioural observation/investigation, evolving thus, profoundly knowledge likewise wisdom over the concept of natural life, human senses and patterns in alive, lifeless and artificial matters. I’m also very much involved with psychology and art as art therapy.Methodologies I rather feel compatibility with for teaching are primarily defined by theme-based classes engaging then multifarious directions and the students' interest in an alternative way. I am referring to a teaching platform where underlies my inherent knowledge and personal interests in disparate fields such as nature, physics, sound, movement, social science, culture, and spirituality. Artistic skills are by default the main concern but not necessarily pertinent to strict result-focused evaluation. The technique is one of the subsidiary domains which will be passed across in the most enjoyable yet intriguing way possible inasmuch sensory and perception stimulation exist in arts the principal target. I aim to change the general young perspective towards artistic disciplines through various and more compelling pathways. The students need to perceive those few creative hours as their opportunity to experiment, through areas which also are declared (after discovering from an introductory or monthly conversation) by them the most appealing. Ultimately, it will rather be a collaboration amongst the teacher and the student, in order to achieve an optimum fluent, friendly and foremost comfortable to sit in class.

Experience / Qualifications
Coming from a loyal to academic art discipline, that is, the fundamentals of drawing(body anatomy, still life, landscapes etc), painting, engraving/printing of Greek education, I can safely claim that my background can be a significant contribution to art education. I have a wide experience with various materials, whereas experimentation and giving value to unordinary, not mundane artistic tools and mediums is notably an emerging element of my personal practice as a freelancing artist. Seemingly goes with my knowledge in art history likewise which dates from early Renaissance to 21st-century Modern pioneers.Specialized in painting on the premise of possessing a Master degree in research-based Fine Arts from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, which lays under the Western European Institutional system I arguably developed the great ability to instruct, work, discourse, collaborate and counsel a range of mentalities and cultures. Working for different local -yet comprised of multicultural staff- organisations also played a role in the cultivation of flexible trait and interaction with students and people in general.

Stavroulla was a great teacher from the start and I knew that since she asked me about the goals that I had in the arts in order to prepare my classes according to them. We explored some theory and technique that I am still working on and have definitely seen an improvement!

Art & Creativity: From basic skills to elaborating narrativesI am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style.
For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. We later explore other methods based on the student's individual interests. I like to teach children and adults via mini projects involving art history references and help them develop narratives around their work. I deeply believe in people's creative potential and in my classes will help you channel your own voice.

MENTORING IN ARTS : Discover how to say something through your artistic work.I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

Idris
Painting Tutor: Discover and develop your artistic languageI am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.
Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!
Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.
The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.
(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
Have questions? Don’t hesitate to message me! I can tailor a class to your needs :)

Classical drawing and painting techniques for beginners and advanced I teach (one-on-one) in my studio and online(internationally)covering painting and drawing techniques for beginners, advanced students, and aspiring art school applicants.
I have a series of significant artistic achievements, having been awarded in the most prestigious international figurative art competitions—competitions that value study, hard work, and knowledge. I have studied art throughout my life and I always strive to reach a high level of performance, with the goal of passing on everything I have learned at the highest standard.
Throughout my career, I have helped many individuals push their limits and improve their artistic techniques—some doing it as a hobby, others achieving exceptional results in the entrance exams for art and architecture universities.
These courses are personalized for any level and age, following a systematic process. Topics include: portraiture, the human figure, anatomy, still life, landscapes, the science of light and shadow, drawing/painting techniques, color theory, perspective, design, etc.
I am also open to collaborations for workshops in any city—art classes on various themes such as classical and realistic, impressionist, or even modern approaches, all based on principles learned from Old Masters’ techniques. These are systems and procedures taught only in Florence, where I also studied for a period. These techniques are not commonly known or practiced in schools in Romania.
Since a portfolio is important in showcasing the level of an art teacher, you can view examples (drawings, paintings) from my personal portfolio and a description of my career on my website, tusaiart.
Another important point is that I offer strictly one-on-one teaching sessions—not group lessons with 5–10 students per session.
Over 10 years of teaching experience
Extensive experience in the field of art: I started working with pencil and brush in kindergarten, and for nearly 30 years I have continued to practice this passion intensively, always aiming to become one of the best in the field.
