TONGA GALVÁN

Gastón “Tonga” Galván (Wilde, Buenos Aires, Argentina) comenzó sus estudios de muy chico en el IMEPA (Instituto Municipal de Educación por el Arte), donde descubrió su pasión por la música.
Cantautor, músico independiente, tras la experiencia previa con otras bandas, forma MATURANA, en cuya vigencia desde 2009 hasta 2015 han grabado tres discos, Encendámonos (2009), Suena la calle (2012), que les permitió ganar el Premio Gardel 2013 a Mejor Álbum Nuevo Artista de Rock, y Vertiente (2014).
En 2023 lanzó su EP "Ahoar es el momento " , luego de haber presentado en varios formatos en vivo (Ableton Set Live , Solo set, Músico y artistas invitados) su 1o Álbum "Tocar Hondo" en 2021 con muy buenas críticas.

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

1- Organic causes: physiological voice disorders that result from alterations in respiratory, laryngeal, or vocal tract mechanisms.

A) Structural: organic voice disorders that result from physical changes in the vocal mechanism, such as:
- Polyps.
- Vocal Nodules.
- Edema
- Cysts on the vocal cords, growths that aren't cancer.

B) Neurogenic causes: organic voice disorders that result from problems with the central or peripheral nervous system innervation to the larynx that affect functioning of the vocal mechanism, such as:
- Vocal tremor.
- Spasmodic dysphonia.
- Vocal fold paralysis.
- Vocal cord paralysis or weakness.

2- Functional causes: voice disorders that result from inefficient use of the vocal mechanism when the physical structure is normal, such as:
- Vocal fatigue.
- Muscle tension Dysphonia or Aphonia.
- Diplophonia.
