Hello! Bonjour à toutes et tous! Hola! Hallo! I'm a chemist and nanotechnologist with a passion for science and education. I’m an easy-going and enthusiastic person with a wide range of hobbies and interests — and I love sharing my knowledge in a fun and engaging way. From a young age, I was fascinated by the natural sciences, especially chemistry. I completed my high school diploma with a focus on chemistry and biology, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s in High Technologies. To complete my second Master's thesis, I studied Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies in France. During this time, I interned at a start-up, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in nanochemistry methods for cancer treatment and immunotherapy. I've also been actively teaching since I was 18 by offering private tutoring to children and university students for over eight years, and later working as a lecturer at a private engineering school in Kyiv for two years. I have also prepared students for competitive chemistry exams, including regional Olympiads. I know how to design lessons that are both educational and inspiring. My goal is to help students truly understand scientific concepts and enjoy the learning process. Currently, I'm pursuing a teaching diploma for upper-secondary schools (Maturitätsschulen / High schools) in Chemistry at PHBern (Teacher University of Bern, Switzerland). I'm looking for motivated students who want to improve their skills in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Mathematics, and who want to enjoy learning along the way. In my lessons, I use high-quality resources in English and German, including textbooks, scientific articles, YouTube videos, interactive tools, and molecular modeling software — whatever best supports deep and effective learning. I speak English, German, some French, Polish and Spanish. My native languages are Ukrainian and Russian. Moreover, I've been teaching German language for the Ukrainians for more than a year (A1-B2 levels). If you're interested in tutoring, feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you! Best regards, Vadym
Do you want to learn German from scratch or improve your level in a structured and effective way? I offer personalized German lessons for beginners and intermediate learners (A1–B1), focused on real communication, clear grammar, and building confidence in speaking. What makes my teaching approach unique is my own experience: I learned German myself from A1 to a strong C1 level within one year. I understand the challenges learners face and know how to guide you efficiently through the process. I am a chemist and currently studying for a teaching diploma at the University of Bern, where my studies are conducted in German. I have also worked as a teacher in Swiss public schools and teach chemistry in German to native speakers (Swiss, German, and Austrian students). This means I use German daily in an academic and professional context and have strong experience in teaching methods, pedagogy, and explaining complex topics in a simple way. In our lessons, we will focus on: • Speaking and real-life communication • Grammar explained clearly and logically • Vocabulary for everyday situations • Listening and pronunciation I am passionate about languages and about helping others learn effectively. My goal is to make German structured, understandable, and motivating — even if you are starting from zero. All lessons are adapted to your level, pace, and goals.
Do you want to understand artificial intelligence and modern digital tools without feeling overwhelmed? This course is designed especially for adults, seniors, and beginners who want to learn how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or NotebookLM in a simple, safe, and practical way. No technical experience is required. I use AI tools confidently in my own work and daily life, and I also have personal experience explaining technology step by step to people who are less familiar with digital tools. I understand the typical challenges and know how to guide you in a clear, patient, and accessible way. In our lessons, I will guide you step by step so you can start using AI and digital tools comfortably and independently. We will focus on practical applications such as: • Using AI for everyday tasks and information search • Writing emails, texts, and documents with AI • Summarizing and understanding information • Creating simple content (ideas, social media, basic websites) • Using AI for productivity, business, and daily organization • Language learning with AI tools • Basic digital skills (Word, Excel, and everyday software) You will learn how to simplify daily tasks, communicate more efficiently, and feel more confident using modern technology. My goal is to make AI and digital tools understandable, practical, and accessible — so you can use them with confidence and without fear. All lessons are adapted to your level, pace, and personal goals.
Do you want to save time, improve your lessons, and explain complex scientific concepts more clearly using AI tools like ChatGPT? This course is designed for chemistry and science teachers who want to use AI in a practical, structured, and pedagogically meaningful way — without needing any technical background. I am a chemist and currently studying for a teaching diploma for upper secondary and vocational education at the University of Bern. I also teach chemistry in German to students from Swiss, German, and Austrian school and university systems, and I have experience applying modern teaching methods in real classrooms. In this course, I will show you how to use AI tools effectively to support your teaching — not replace it. We will focus on practical applications such as: • Creating structured lesson plans in minutes • Generating worksheets, exercises, and exam-style questions • Explaining complex concepts (e.g. bonding, equilibrium, thermodynamics) in simple and clear ways • Designing experiments and classroom activities • Differentiating content for mixed-ability classes • Creating summaries, visual explanations, and teaching materials In addition, I will introduce you to useful scientific resources and databases that can significantly improve your teaching and content preparation, including: • Finding molecular structures and chemical data • Accessing reliable information about compounds and reactions • Exploring protein structures and basic bioinformatics resources • Introduction to drug-related databases and real-world applications We will also briefly cover modern teaching approaches in an international context, including: • Understanding differences between school systems (e.g. Swiss, German, IB/international approach) • Structuring lessons in a clear and student-centered way • Selecting effective textbooks and practice materials • Recommendations based on real teaching experience This combination of AI tools, scientific resources, and modern pedagogy allows you to create more effective, structured, and engaging lessons. I use these tools and methods regularly in my own teaching and will guide you step by step, providing practical examples you can directly apply in your classroom. My goal is to help you teach more efficiently, reduce preparation time, and improve the quality of your lessons. All sessions are adapted to your subjects, level, and teaching context.
Do you want to understand how molecules are modeled and visualized using modern computational tools? This course provides a clear and practical introduction to molecular modelling in chemistry, combining essential theory with hands-on experience using software such as Avogadro, HyperChem, or PCModel. It is designed for students and beginners who want to build a solid foundation in computational chemistry without needing advanced programming skills. In this course, you will learn how to construct, visualize, and analyze molecular structures while understanding the key theoretical concepts behind these methods. We will cover: • Basics of molecular mechanics (force fields, energy minimization) • Introduction to quantum chemistry concepts (orbitals, electronic structure, approximations) • Geometry optimization and conformational analysis • Visualization of molecules in 2D and 3D • Working with real molecular modelling software I am a chemist with teaching experience and will guide you step by step, connecting theory with practical applications. My goal is to make complex concepts understandable and give you tools you can actually use in your studies or research. All lessons are adapted to your level and academic background.
