Why is classical music worth listening to? What is special about Bach or Mozart? Why can music touch us so profoundly? If you want some answers to these questions - but especially if you want to reflect on them, and expand your knowledge of music and art - then these lessons might be for you. For each student, I make a tailored lesson plan depending on their interests. This can be leaning more towards music history, towards a specific composer or time period that you like... everything is up for discussion!

Experiencing the joy of music-making can be one of the most rewarding things in life! If you want to learn to play the piano, or to improve your piano playing, I can help you develop your technique and musicality. I am a piano coach at the conservatoire in Zwolle, and I am able to apply those skills to teaching amateur musicians as well. After discussing your goals, I'll see what's the best way to guide you there - and then we'll get to work together! My goal is that you're inspired and enjoy exploring the piano. I offer individual lessons of half an hour or an hour and I can teach at your house or online.
