Composing music can be intimidating, but it’s actually stimulating and hands-on, and it’s not all about sitting at a table in front of a paper imagining music. In these lessons you’ll learn about composition techniques, harmony, melody, rhythm, form, composing through improvisation, and much more. Everything you need to translate your ideas into your own preferred genre of music. Depending on your background and musical preferences, we will adjust the content of the lessons so that it fits you best. The lessons can be done in English, Dutch, Spanish or Catalan.

Ableton Live is a powerful tool for making music and designing your own music sets to play live. In the lessons, you will learn how to work with the software and music production tools, learn the tips and tricks, as well as the musical terms necessary to translate your own ideas into music, and you’ll be able to prepare everything for a live show or a master track. Besides the more technical approach, we will also work on composition techniques and how to unleash your creativity.
