“I play music because I need to express my emotions” - Ray Chen Hi! My name is Eider and I’m a Spanish violinist living in Zwolle. I’ve been playing the violin since I was 7 and after studying my Bachelor’s Degree in Spain, I’m about to finish my Classical Music Master in ArtEZ Conservatorium. I’ve been teaching violin for more than 3 years now to students of different ages and levels. I also love performing in orchestras and chamber music groups. For me, music is a language and it’s all about storytelling and sharing emotions. Therefore, I like to look for a balance between teaching technique and using imagination and creativity. My goal is for the students to enjoy the lessons, and since this means something different for each student, I like to adapt my teaching accordingly. Playing the violin is having your own artistic voice and expressing yourself, and it can be so much fun! :) I can teach in English and Spanish to students of all levels: amateur, beginner or advanced.
