I am a classically trained guitarist and pianist. I have been teaching for the last 8 years. I teach students of all ages.
My background is a mixture of classical training, self-learning and years of live performing with numerous bands and solo recitals. My approach to teaching reflects my background - I will always focus on proper technique while also making sure that you're motivated to keep playing the instrument and have fun with it.
I like to have students work to set targets that you feel good about, whether that's an exam, performance, or your favourite piece.
I work from a variety if syllabus (classical, folk, pop, rock etc.) but we can also make it up based on what interests you! Whether you have played before, or have never played a note in your life, together we can find plenty to keep you interested and get the most out of your instrument!
