What makes a good song? This is exactly what we are going to find out. Exploring many of same techniques that are dealt with during our Composition Lessons, but in a broader more macro way. These lessons are geared to bring out your inner storyteller. By analyzing the great songs of the past and learning what makes them so effective, students will be able to internalize those tricks and techniques and add them to their own musician's toolbox. These tools will prove to be invaluable not only in crafting and shaping their musical stories, but also in overcoming writer's block. This program will ultimately help your songs reach their full potential and give you the ability to reach people on a deeper, more profound emotional level.

Présentation
As a music educator, I hold myself to very high standards. My profound love and respect for music underpins my belief that all teachers have a significant responsibility to wholeheartedly assist, guide, and nurture every student who has entrusted them with their education. The most important thing is to do what is best for the welfare of each particular student.

When it comes to lessons, I believe that above all, learning and playing music should be fun and never reach a point when it is not. Music is not as hard as many books and teachers would have some of us believe. If things get too complicated, the student becomes confused or discouraged, or the lessons no longer feel enjoyable, then I am not doing my job. I create customized lesson plans for each student to make sure that this principle is never compromised.

As your music teacher, my goal is to work diligently to not only ensure your success, but hopefully, to ignite a sense of inspiration within you.

Hello! I am a clarinetist who graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. I offer private ONLINE lessons. For beginners, intermediate and advanced students. If you want to improve your skills as a musician and have fun with your instrument, this is probably the place for you. Do you want to prepare an audition, to be more flexible playing chamber music, or just having fun playing a jazz standard?

I would like to offer to share my knowledge and help you with any questions and concerns you may have about classical music and other styles.

I am a compassionate and enthusiastic teacher dedicated to helping my students reach for the stars! One of my defining characteristics is my genuine interest in the longterm happiness and progression of my students. I am committed to providing students with a safe and positive environment where they feel supported throughout their musical journeys. I absolutely love finding ways in which I can personalize my lessons to best fit each student. Music education is not one size fits all and I want to honor the different ways students learn. I gain so much happiness knowing that my lessons fit the needs of my students.

I am dedicated to nurturing a love for music in each student. I aim to positively enhance the student's strength, dexterity, and technique while building a lasting interest in music. In early lessons, I focus on developing an understanding of the student's goals and personal interests. I guide students to create sustainable practice routines, reinforcing the importance of discipline, responsibility and hard work. I emphasize building a strong foundation early on so that future musical progress is always supported by a strong core of musical knowledge. Typical lessons involve scales, sight reading, and a piece that the student chooses.

My goal as a teacher is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals as an artist and a musician.
