I am a teacher and tutor of Italian Language for Foreigners with a Master's degree in teaching Italian as a language for foreigners from the Ca' Foscari University of Venezia and the DITALS certification (Certificate of aptitude in didactics of Italian to foreigners) of the University for Foreigners of Siena (Italy). The course and my method of teaching the language are based on a communicative approach: the student will learn the language gradually by using it and communicating in a real language and not abstract. To achieve this goal, many activities will be offered using authentic teaching materials such as newspaper articles, pages from novels, movie scenes, song lyrics and many more.

I support anyone wishing to learn or improve their English, intended for both children and adults. Being bilingual French-English by birth, I easily juggle between the two languages. I adapt to your needs: whether it is to work on grammar, learn vocabulary or practice speaking, I develop my courses according to your request. My method consists of transforming the course into a fun activity, in order to make it a pleasant moment rather than a burden for the student. By changing the learner's state of mind, he is more receptive, more focused, he retains more easily and this motivates him to persevere in learning.

Hello! Are you interested in learning Italian or English, or improving your fluency? You've come to the right place. I have officially been a teacher since 2018 and I'm currently working as a part-time English teacher at a public school in the centre of Brussels. I've created 60 lessons that can be applied to any level you may have in English, whether it be a complete beginner or a more proficient C1-C2 level. Public Speaking is key to be able to communicate and get your point across. Here we'll be talking, no matter the topic of discussion. Also you'll learn tips on how to be comfortable when speaking in public, by using simple words and specific body language. Writing is an art which can always be improved, even for the best writers in the world. We'll go back to basics in terms of grammar, conjugation and general writing rules to respect and become the best writer you can be. Reading out loud is all about how to tell a story so I'll be giving you valuable tips on narration and story-telling. Also, we'll work on how to read even faster.

For my classes, I am using multiple supports such as an English book, homemade exercices and my highschool textbook which I take the liberty to adapt depending on the student's level. I usually work by chapters, as I find it easier to move on throughout the lesson. I also appreciate the structured program to keep the mind clear and actually see the progress.

I hold an MA in English Language and Literature and have been teaching English to both kids and adults of for over 10 years. I believe learning should leverage a creative, fun, and hands on approach to improving English language proficiency.

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
