We can have our lessons in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying various aspects of learning a language. It's not just about memorizing complex conjugations!

I work with a variety of online resources, all of which is shared with you after the lesson. For structure and to evaluate progress, I also work with certain books depending on the level and the requirement. Unless you wish to focus on specific skills, I try to include speaking, listening and reading during the session, while writing exercises are given as homework. I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

Highly personalized lessons! I dedicate considerable time and effort to researching topics that will truly interest students based on their level and cultural background. Personalizing each lesson is very important to me: providing relevant and high-quality content for students, sometimes reinforcing specific grammar points, assessing student interest and engagement based on the lesson's theme and materials, anticipating their questions, and gathering their feedback.
I always begin a first lesson with an introduction and a spontaneous chat with the student to understand their situation, motivations, and goals. This is done preferably in French (depending on the student's level), but I am fluent in Spanish and English, which can help the learner feel more comfortable and facilitate initial interactions. Depending on the learner's goals and interests, I prepare a lesson focusing on a grammatical, pragmatic, cultural, or social objective (objectives that complement each other and that I can adapt or delve deeper into depending on the learner's interests).
