I have 3 years of working with students in high school age, getting help for the curriculum and college preparatory exams. All of my students were great and we worked hard to get the least important part (i.e. standardized exam) done well and in short period of time, so they can focus on their essays, school work, extracurricular activities. I also worked as a teaching assistant in college as well, leading recitation sessions and hosting office hours.

Korean Lessons for all levels (A1 to C2, Conversational and Professional)

Hello,

My Name is So. I was born and raised in Korea and U.S.A. I have also spent some time in China. I currently live and work in Brussels. I am a graduate student focusing on Philosophy but have experience tutoring Korean up to the standardized testing levels (e.g. TOPIK, SAT 2); Or, we can simply work on your conversational or professional Korean. We can start from the very beginning and work our way up, as I guide you through Korean culture, history, art, films, literature, political history, and philosophy if you are interested as well. I personally love discussing Korean films (love nouvelle vague influenced films of the 60s and recent 2000-10s ones) and literature (from light-hearted mangas, critical essays, and keystone fiction). I am an enthusiastic teacher.

All lessons can be customized based on your goals and needs. Materials can be provided, or if you have specifically requested materials, we can follow that as well. I do both in-person or online lessons, for your convenience. I work with students of all ages. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

I am available several hours a week to help your child with his homework, whether it is for the preparation of the CEB or simply a follow-up for students with difficulties in all branches, including Dutch and Spanish and English, if followed by the student. My goal is also to help him realize his mistakes so that he can become aware of them and overcome them.
