My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.

Singers like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra have left an indelible mark on American popular music through their jazz vocal stylings, fusing a conversational delivery with rhythmic and melodic improvisation. This course is tailored for each student to teach the unique characteristics of jazz singing and how to apply these characteristics to create your own sound. You will learn jazz phrasing, how to integrate good technique into jazz song styles, and how to sing with a number of time feels and grooves.

The course focuses on jazz vocal technique and delivery, including use of vocal inflections, dynamics, articulation, and interpretation, and how to improvise through rhythmic and melodic phrasing. The course then will go deeper into jazz improvisation expanding the musical vocabulary of scat studying syllabels, rhythm, and melodic ideas.

In this course we will apply these concepts to jazz tunes in various tempos and grooves, including ballads, medium swing, fast swing, and bossa nova. You'll move on to learn important considerations for effective stage presence and use of the microphone, too.

Imparto clases de canto, de piano, de sensibilisación/introducción a la música y solfeo.

Vivo en Madrid y soy estudiante de Grado Superior en Canto (Jazz y Músicas Actuales). Dedico una buen parte de mi tiempo a la enseñanza (musical y linguistica) en formato de clases particulares en linea o a domicilio.

Empecé a dar clases particulares a domicilio a niñxs cuando vivía en Alemania. Durante el curso academico 22-23 dí clases de piano a alumnxs de todas edades en la Escuela de música RedMusik (Igualada, Cataluña).

Estudié el piano y otros instrumentos durante mas de 15 años en la UGDA y en el Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Luxemburgo. Después de muchos años de solfeo y piano obtuve el certificado de „Première Mention“ del Conservatorio, con la calificación "Très Bien".

Una buena clase de música debe incluir no solamente la técnica o la lectura de partituras, sino también el estudio teórico y armónico, la improvisación, el juego recreativo con el instrumento, ejercicios de audición y de rítmica. Me interesa diseñar la clase de manera creativa y adaptada a las necesidad y los deseos del/de la alumnx.

ب) الأسباب العصبية: اضطرابات الصوت العضوية التي تنتج عن مشاكل في تعصيب الجهاز العصبي المركزي أو المحيطي للحنجرة والتي تؤثر على عمل الآلية الصوتية ، مثل:
- رعاش صوتي.
- خلل النطق التشنجي.
- شلل الطيات الصوتية.
- شلل الأحبال الصوتية أو ضعفها.

2- الأسباب الوظيفية: اضطرابات الصوت التي تنتج عن الاستخدام غير الفعال للآلية الصوتية عندما يكون التركيب المادي طبيعيًا ، مثل:
- التعب الصوتي.
- خلل التوتر العضلي أو فقدان الصوت.
- دبلوفونيا.

Puede realizarse en acompañamiento de padres o acudientes. I'm Leila, a French-Austrian opera singer, trained in France and Germany.
In my singing lessons, I focus on developing a healthy, sustainable technique, while helping students discover untapped potential and find fulfillment in singing. My approach is based on listening, physical awareness and flexibility, allowing the technique to develop organically and understanding what works best for each person individually.

I am a classically trained lyric tenor currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Classical Singing at Conservatorium Maastricht, with extensive experience in opera and concert performance.
