Hello Italian learners! Do you want to improve your Italian skills? Do you want to discover more about Italy? Wanna have a deeper understanding of Italian culture, history, touristic sites, cinema, literature, and arts? Or do you simply want to focus on improving your grammar and your spoken/written Italian? This might be the right class for you! The class is focused on conversation so you need to have at least a basic understanding/knowledge of Italian. During a one-hour class we will do: - around 45 minutes of conversation: you can decide the topic, it can be simple chit-chatting, something about Italy or any specific topic you want to go through. - around 15 minutes of review. This means: check of the pronunciation, grammar, use of the words, cultural insights, etc. Once the class is over we will have an overview of the areas you need to improve. If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
