I create a learning experience (content and pace) adapted to your needs: speaking fluently, DELF/ DALF test preparation, conversations to help with travel or relocation or simply the pleasure of talking about subjects you are interested in. We can have our lessons in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying various aspects of learning a language. It's not just about memorizing complex conjugations!

I work with a variety of online resources, all of which is shared with you after the lesson. For structure and to evaluate progress, I also work with certain books depending on the level and the requirement. Unless you wish to focus on specific skills, I try to include speaking, listening and reading during the session, while writing exercises are given as homework. Grammar points are handled as and when they come up.

J'aime utiliser différentes méthodes pour enseigner le français aux étudiants. Cela peut être à travers des chansons, du théâtre, des jeux de rôle ou des vidéos. J'utilise aussi très souvent des situations proches de l'expérience de l'élève, comme décrire des endroits où il a été ou parler de ce qu'il a vécu. En même temps, j'enseigne les règles de grammaire à l'élève. Je vis maintenant dans des régions où le français est parlé depuis plus de 30 ans. Parce que j'ai moi-même appris le français ( et j’apprends encore d'autres langues), je peux facilement me mettre à la place d'un étudiant. Je peux enseigner en français, néerlandais, anglais, allemand et russe.

Ik ben heel flexibel in het lesgeven. Het is de bedoeling dat de leerling zo vlug mogelijk een beoogd niveau bereikt. Hiervoor analyseer ik bij de eerste les waar de tekorten zich bevinden en stel op die manier een leerprogramma op (steeds in samenspraak met de leerling/ouders)
Ik hecht heel veel belang aan het aanleren van de perfecte uitspraak. Ik moedig ook aan om te leren denken in de aangeleerde taal, zodat de taal zo snel mogelijk kan gesproken worden.
Natuurlijk geef ik ook uitleg bij de grammatica regels die onontbeerlijk zijn.
Het doet me plezier als mijn studenten positieve resultaten bekomen.

Lors du premier cours, nous parlerons de tes objectifs ainsi que de ton niveau, ainsi je pourrai créer un cours pour toi. Je structure toujours mes cours selon des thèmes basées sur la vie réelle (comment se présenter, comment prendre rendez-vous, faire les courses, aller chez le médecin, le français au travail, etc). Nous verrons ensemble la grammaire, le vocabulaire et la prononciation. Si tu es intermédiaire, nous ferons aussi des cours sur des textes. Nous mettrons autant la grammaire comme le vocabulaire en pratique. Les cours ont lieu via Zoom ou Google Meet. Gelukkig is Frans mijn moedertaal. Ik woon in Brussel waar ik veel cursussen Frans heb gegeven aan Franstaligen en ook aan niet-Franstaligen in het kader van FLE (Frans als vreemde taal), meestal face-to-face en ook een beetje afstandsonderwijs. Ik wil het gebruik van afstandsonderwijs uitbreiden.

Je zult je veel in het Frans moeten uitdrukken, want mijn niveau van het Nederlands is gemiddeld. In feite spreek ik het in een "normaal" tempo, maar met een beperktere woordenschat en uitdrukkingen dan de uwe.
Dit kan in het begin een beetje frustrerend lijken, maar het is een echt voordeel voor u, omdat het u dwingt om u zo veel mogelijk in het Frans uit te drukken!
