Knowing Spanish is a superpower! When you learn a new language you open yourself to new opportunities and experiences, and with Spanish, that means being able to communicate with around 400 million people worldwide.

The learning experience with me has four stages:

1. Learning conversational skills relevant to you and the reason for learning Spanish. No grammar or complicated rules, just vocabulary and pronunciation. You'll be able to talk with natives on a basic level.

2. Reading and writing. You'll be introduced to pronouns, verbs, conjugation, and basic grammar. Writing emails, having a WhatsApp conversation, posting on social media about your day or your work, and more. Reading news, articles related to your work or studies.

3. Tackling the most challenging parts of your learning experience. Here we evaluate what you need to practice more and make sure you nail it.

My English lessons focus on teaching you to speak and understand, then to read and write. I guarantee you that in no time you will see the results.

Your learning is divided into three stages:

1. Speak and listen. Here we focus on conversations that apply to everyday situations, vocabulary, common phrases, pronunciation, listening comprehension and understanding native speakers. The materials adjust to your tastes.

2. Read and write. Learn grammar rules, syntax and structure. Constant practices adapted to your areas of interest. Daily communication with me for consultations, tutorials, exercises, at no cost.

3. English for you. At this stage, we will focus on the specific reason why you are learning English. For example, if you study English for study abroad, job offers, business or travel, we adapt the lessons to prepare you. Some skills you will develop will be: Present a project, write letters or emails, publish about yourself or your work on social networks, write your CV, create a professional online profile (such as on LinkedIn), put together a portfolio, write an essay , among others.

The steps can be changed depending on your level and/or the reason you study English.

I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor.
